Street food night was a great way to get acquainted with the town. It was both entertaining and educational. Great way to start our time in Chiang Mai.

Great tour! Lots of food options to try and experience. Mr. Goal did an awesome job explaining the backstory of the food we were eating and guiding us through the city markets.

The guide went above and beyond to make us taste so many dishes. He explain everything that we ate. We didn't expect to try that much food. It was 20 dishes! Really great value. We felt safe with him to try all the food. You should come to that tour on an empty stomach and pace yourself during the tour. Don't eat to much rice if you want to try everything. So much good food!!! Thanks again!

This tour was nothing like advertised. For one, it was not organized at all. Completely chaotic. It felt like our tour guide didn’t have a plan for which spots we would be eating from. He would simply walk by food stands, grab and touch everything then continue walking to another vendor. No rhyme or reason for which food stand we would get food from. He would often take us to what he would say was his favorite food stand or favorite Thai dish, but then say “we don’t be eating here/or this”. He lacked focus of any kind. It was advertised in the description that we would be driven around in a traditional truck but instead he crammed us all into his SUV. The tour lasted way longer than advertised too, so much that one of the person in the tour decided to leave. Our tour guide also never really explained the dishes we were eating nor their history. The upside of this tour was that we did try really good food and one of the other couple with us enjoyed laughing with us about how comical the entire tour was. Two weeks later, we went for another food tour but in Bangkok this time. And it was vastly different. Very well organized. Our to our guide told us exactly at the start how many dishes we would be tasting, which type of dishes, would speak at length about the history of the dishes as well as the food stands we would go to. She would explain perfectly why she picked those in particular. The food was phenomenal and the experience showed us what a real food tour should be like. We later learned that this company also offers food tours in Chiang Mai. So I highly suggest you use them instead of this company. They are called A Chef’s Tour.

Loved this food tour. Our guide, Mr. Goal, was incredibly friendly and helped foster a great chemistry for our small group. We went to one restaurant and three separate markets and tasted maybe 20+ dishes plus some liquor at the end of the night and they were all delicious. Mr. Goal did a great job of picking food representing different regions of the country, explaining the history and preparation of the food, and providing valuable color that made our experience incredible. We definitely visited a number of places I don't think we would've found without this tour. Would absolutely recommend this.

Guide was great . Picked me up at my hotel on time. We went to 3 different places for food tasting . He was knowledgeable and entertaining. Posted lots of photos to WhatsApp. The group was small(6) so easy to get around and we got to enjoy each others company. I took a similiar experience in Bangkok for twice the price and there is no comparison. Highly recommend

Vast variety of food - mains, desserts & even a little drink at the end. Super-attentive, thoughtful & informative guide. Definitely broadened both the food we tried and where we ate - we wouldn’t have got round four night markets in one evening under our own steam. Good value for money.

The food market was awesome! Delicious food and lots of it! Everyone in the group was really nice, too. The variety of food was really good and learning about the regional food of Chiang Mai was interesting. We were all stuffed before the end of it! I highly recommend.
