Only did quick tastings at two vineyards- and time to wander the village. Felt more like a sales pitch than an actual tour. Didn’t help that our tour was an hour delayed due to another guest and rude comments from the tour operator. Would recommend exploring wine bars in Dijon and doing tastings there rather than booking this door.

This tour was very good and everything that is described is accurate. The tour leader drove us through the countryside and we experienced two wine tastings, one in a more rugged setting, the other in a more refined setting. Both were very good. We also got to explore Beaune and had lunch at an amazing restaurant (Au Coq Bleu) that was recommended by the tour.

Pierre was our driver for the day. He was very knowledgeable about area and the wines. His English is very good. This is not an American style wine tasting where the goal is getting sauced. This is a drive in the country and seeing fields and fields of vines. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions and I think we did stop a couples of times for pictures. Stunning views, and plenty of commentary. A stop at a winery before and after lunch. One was older, smaller and cute and the other bigger and more commercial looking. Interesting look at the differences between the types of wineries in the area. If you want to learn more about wines in the Beaune area, this is a solid tour.

Highly recommend this tour! We enjoyed learning about the wines, process, and villages. The wines in the afternoon were curated for preferences too which was nice. Driving through the vineyards and countryside was just beautiful. Had couple of hours to explore charming Beaune and grab lunch. Borg the tour guide was very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Such a great time!

This was an excellent tour that far exceeded my expectations! Although it is somewhat expensive, in my opinion, it was worth every penny! Max was our driver. He was very knowledgeable and made special efforts to insure that we were having a good time! For example, he asked us our preferences and selected a stop based on the preferences of the group. Two of the group wanted to drink wine from Puligy-Montrachet and so he took us to Mason Moillard. We had an excellent tasting experience there and we tasted two or three Puligny-Montrachet wines! We had a two hour break in Beaune. That may seem like a lot of time but we used it well to visit the Hospice, have a bit to eat and to wander the town. I suggest you visit the gift shop at the drop off/pickup spot. In addition to gifts, it has books in English and very useful maps! Tip: Strongly recommend that you find the pickup place by the Plaza Darcy IN ADVANCE. The Plaza Darcy is a fairly large plaza but, in fact, the pickup spot is not at the plaza. It is across the street alongside the Park Darcy. Look for Avenue Marchiel Foche on your map and the DiviaMobilites kiosk. We had a very good time and if you take this tour, hope that you do as well!

Highly recommend this day tour to provide a great overview of the wineries between Dijon and Beaune. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable, and happy to also share tips on places to eat and visit in Dijon, Beaune and the surrounding areas. We had a full packed car of 8 travellers and Alex made sure that we were comfortable, had plenty of water and toilet stops as needed. We visited a smaller winery in the morning and then a far larger one (very stylish) in the afternoon. We had an hour to ourselves in Beaune to visit the Hospice and to eat lunch. Alex provided a very helpful list of places to eat at. Well worth the day out.
