  We did the small guided tour & it was the highlight of our Vegas trip! Paul was our guide and he was excellent! He was very communicative the day before which was appreciated. He made the day fun & told us so much about the history and details of each site. I would highly recommend this tour!

  The tour started off a bit rocky - our driver was about 45 minutes late to pick us up at the hotel. The drive was beautiful but our tour guide talked the entire time, repeating himself over and over, which was overwhelming. It would have been nice to enjoy the views without the constant chatter. I know he was sharing his knowledge however, the trip itself is about 10 hours and that's a lot of talking. I think the tour could be shortened a bit (we had several stops by the side of the road to be given history on rock formation and such that could be taken out). The tour was very long - our van asked that we not stop to view the Joshua tree and to just drive directly back to our hotel. We had the nice amount of time both at Hoover Dam and at the Grand Canyon. Our tour guide also was VERY pushy about taking our pictures rather than allowing us to take our own - he wanted group pictures at every single stop - we didn't know the other people in our van and was disappointed at that.

  We had the best day on this tour. Our guide Alphonso was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It packed a lot of stops into 1 full day and by the end of the day it felt like we were traveling with friends and family. I would highly recommend this tour.

  A fabulous tour, with the star of the show our tour guide Alfonso! We had a fantastic day visiting both the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Alfonso was engaging and informative in every location and integrated into the group, he walked along with us pointing out points of interest at every stop. Alfonso is also a great photographer, taking the time to take a lovely picture of us as a couple which can be tricky when you are travelling just as a couple and then took the time to WhatsApp the images to us. We were on the small group tour where we meet some other lovely couples, lunch and breakfast were provided (excellent sandwiches) and there was a constant supply of bottled water when required. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour.

  The tour was amazing! Alonso's attention and explanation is excellent. All the time you care to provide the best care, the places to visit on this tour are beautiful, the hoover dam with its incredible engineering for the time, the wonderful view of the grand canyon is something unique.

  This was an amazing tour—truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Alfonzo, was incredibly knowledgeable and created a very intimate, personalized experience. What really set him apart was his attention to each group. Even though there were four couples, he treated every one of us as if we were on a private tour. On top of that, he’s an exceptional photographer and did a fantastic job capturing the experience for each couple. After the tour, he even followed up with a text recap along with all the photos, which was a great touch.   I recently took a Grand Canyon trip with Grand Adventures, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The entire journey was incredibly well-organised, allowing us to relax and fully take in the breathtaking scenery without worrying about logistics. A special mention has to go to our guide, Alfonso. He was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area. He shared fascinating insights about the history, geology, and hidden gems of the Grand Canyon, which really brought the experience to life. Alfonso also made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and included, striking the perfect balance between being professional and approachable. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, giving us plenty of time at the most stunning viewpoints while also allowing for some quieter, less crowded spots. Every moment felt worthwhile, and the pacing was just right—not rushed, but never dull. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this trip more highly. If you’re considering exploring the Grand Canyon, Grand Adventures—and especially Alfonso—will ensure it’s a truly memorable experience.

  We were very lucky to be a party of just 4 guests for this trip to Grand Canyon. Alfonso our driver was very informative and was our 'professional' photographer at all our stops. A really great trip and worth the money!
