What To Expect

Hiking: 10 km and 500m of altitude difference. Along an enchanting path in the woods (10km and 500m altitude difference) you arrive at a cave hidden in the mountain: “Limeri”. This cave, very important during the Second War, was an espionage base for the partisan movements and home to a radio station. Continuing, passing by the small church of Ag.Ioannis, you arrive at the top of the 2nd mountain on the island: Mount Akramitis. Here the green meets the "Aegean blue" for a breathtaking panorama. The whole area is included in the European habitat network "NATURA 2000" and is protected as a "monument of nature" because, in addition to the particular morphology, the natural beauty and the dense pine and cypress forest, it contains unique ecosystems of wild fauna and flora . The descent passes through a mainly stony path and boasts a fascinating view. Good athletic preparation required.

My daughter Katie and I did the hike with 4 other people and Manuela was our guide. We had a truly amazing time which surpassed both our expectations. Manuela was fantastic, giving us lots of information along the way and answering any questions we had. The views were fabulous and we had plenty of opportunities to take photos of our adventure. I cannot recommend this hike highly enough. We really enjoyed the company of the other hikers in our group and it was a wonderful experience my daughter and I will never forget.

We had the privilege to go on a hike with Manuela & her beautiful dog Pino up the mountain, we passed trees, amazing plants, flowers & herbs. Some places were an easy hike & other places slightly challenging. Manuela gave us lots of information & history of Rodos, which was fascinating. When I told manuela I was actually scared of heights but liked to challenge myself she was understanding & patient. The summit was fantastic, with stunning views. Our hike was made so much better because of Pino the dog being there, he was a great companion. We 100% recommend, especially with Manuela & Pino

Congratulations to all the staff! We took part in a week-long group trek to the beautiful island of Rhodes. The hikes are well calibrated for length and elevation gain. The proposed itineraries allow you to enjoy beautiful landscapes surrounded by the scent of sage, rosemary, thyme. The guides are very clear in the explanations of monuments, artifacts, rocks, fauna and flora. During our tours we had lunch in typical inns tasting typical local foods. Super recommended! Trying to believe! Thank you for all the emotions you made us feel!

Thanks to our guides Elisa Valentina and Manuela who made us appreciate and enjoy the nature and cuisine of Rhodes and surroundings with professionalism and sympathy! Beautiful paths on the cliffs overlooking the sea with a bath break in deserted coves with wonderful water, trekking on Mount Akramitis among the woods, bushes and herbs. There was no shortage of history with the medieval town of Rhodes and the acropolis of Lindos, the Castle of Monolithos and the monastery of the nuns in Lardos! I left the island with the desire to return 😁😍!!!

Wow! What an experience. My guide Manuella was so lovely and kind, It was a pleasure to spend the day hiking with her. she is also very knowledgeable and patient. I used the hiking poles provided and I’m glad I did they came in very handy. I would recommend that you do! I was seriously IMPRESSED by the whole experience. We went inside a tiny cave on the mountain and a tiny church also (both optional) . It was a unique experience. I have climbed some mountains in my time but Mount Akramitis has the most BEAUTIFUL VIEWS i have ever witnessed. I was overcome with emotion when I reached the summit. The photos are nothing short of FABULOUS. We had a couple of stops and Manuella provided some snacks for us. There was no pressure to walk quickly but we picked up a good pace. All I can say is if you do anything let it be this because you will be glad you did. It was the highlight of my holiday.

Elisa and ‘fantastic made us know the island through beautiful trekking some in the middle of Aleppo pines and oaks others along the wonderful beaches of Rhodes telling us the landscapes with passion and also telling the story of the island. Beautiful experience that I highly recommend!
