I had such a great week with the guide Ben! On my tour everyone was alone and between 23 and 34 and everyone was super open and you just met others and made great friends 🤩 You have super many opportunities to book extra activities and besides the shared activities a lot of flexibility if you want to:)

I had an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was extremely organized and the staff were genuinely warm, helpful, and attentive to every detail. You can tell they truly care about creating a smooth and welcoming environment for travelers. The accommodations were simple but absolutely got the job done. I chose a private room which was very affordable at around 80 USD per night. It was well worth it for the added comfort and privacy. What really made the trip special was the group dynamic. Everyone was a solo traveler from different parts of the world. The people were friendly, outgoing, and mature, which made it easy to connect and enjoy each day together. I especially appreciated that activities were reserved in advance for us. Traveling alone often means a lot of planning and logistics, and having everything coordinated saved a significant amount of time and mental energy. This experience is absolutely worth the investment. It is a fantastic way to meet great people, explore magical New Zealand, and have an unforgettable adventure without the stress of organizing everything yourself. Highly recommend.

This was my first time traveling alone and it was an amazing experience. We got so much done in only a week and the time flew by because I was having so much fun with the activities and the group. It was really easy to get to know everyone and build friendships with most of the group traveling solo as well. Ben was an amazing tour guide as well. He knew all of the best spots to go for food and views and had great advice on which activities were worthwhile.

I had the best time on this tour. Our tour guide Claudes was amazing - so full of passion and knowledge of her beautiful home land, she is fun and full of joyous energy. I am so happy to have met such a wonderful person. We had some great chats and big belly laughs along the way! The places we went on the tour - Hobbiton & Waitomo Glow Worm Caves - were amazing. Super well organised and a highlight of the trip! And do not miss out on the Tē Pa Tū Māori Cultural Experience, so informative and interesting… and the food was amazing! The accommodation along the journey was really great, and I the van was really comfy for the longer drive days. A stunning country, seen best when you are able to move around and absorb the culture and landscapes properly. I would recommend this tour and Wild Kiwi to anyone visiting, whether they do a day trip or 2 tours back to back like I did. And top marks for the guides - everyone has been amazing!

What a week... I had the best time and its such a good way to pack in all the highlights of the North Island, loads of fun activities, local insights and history and make some awesome new friends along the way. The trip was super well organised, and never felt hectic despite packing a lot in. Clauds, our guide, was (is) awesome - fun, organised, hugely passionate and knowledgeable about NZ and helped create a great vibe with the group. I'd 100% recommend to anyone travelling solo (or with friends) wanting to meet people and keep busy! Worth noting that a lot of the activities cost a bit extra so plan for that and you'll have an amazing time :)

North Island was so much fun. Claud’s was a great tour guide. I loved her energy and passion for New Zealand. She always made sure everyone was having a great time and had great recommendations at every town we stopped in. She was also good at finding options when a tour didn’t work out. We were very lucky with the weather up to the last day.

  • Great tour involving a great deal of walking.

Fantastic way to see North New Zealand. Claudia was an excellent guide and driver. Many activities to choose from. Hotels were great. Almost all activites involved a high level of physical fitness including lots of walking.. most in our group were 40-60. At 77 I kept up but was challenging. Felt a slight disconnect because of age difference.
