Please review voucher information after booking as it provides a detailed list of items banned from the Capitol and many other federal buildings. Possession of these items will result in non-admission to the building.
Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before tour start time. Tour begins exactly at stated time, entry to buildings are on timed reservations, and group must enter security together, therefore we are unable to accommodate for late arrivals.
Closest Metro stop: Capitol South (Orange/Blue/Silver Lines) - Exit station using main exit, walk approximately two blocks north on First Street SE.
The US Capitol and its surrounding complex are in a secure federal operation area and nearby parking is highly restricted. The nearest public parking is located at Union Station approximately .5 mile from meeting location. Alternative modes of transportation are highly encouraged.

5.00We had an incredible experience touring the nation's capital and the library of congress with our guide, Skye! Even with the less than desirable weather, she brought energy and enthusiasm with every stop on the tour. Her knowledge of the tour areas, monuments and some extras were really impressive! What really stood out to us is how she made everything feel personal and engaging! We walked away not only learning alot but feeling like we'd spent that short time with someone who genuinely loves what she does. Thanks again Skye, we had a great time!

5.00Shane , our guide was a real performer. He knew well the essential elements of the visit and had an energy and humor that made the visit memorable. I will not speak about the experience of visiting the Rotunda and the whole Library of the Congress. They were just stunning !

5.00James was our tour guide and he was amazing! At no point during this tour will you be bored - the exact opposite! James was knowledgeable, funny, interesting and patient. He has the singular ability to make history and facts - fun! We saw the Capitol, Library of Congress and a bit of the Supreme Court such that the 3 hours flew by. 1 note - since our tour was on a weekend, both the House and Senate chambers were closed so we didn't see them. If I had it to do over again, I would book this tour on a weekday. Also, we did this tour in the morning and there were far fewer people at the locations when we toured. By the time we finished around noon, the locations were filling quickly such that an afternoon tour would probably have been somewhat crowded. This tour is well worth the time and cost - don't miss it!

5.00Great tour- only the two of us being taken around so it was much more personal and in depth. Took as long as we liked, saw a lecture in the supreme court, wandered round the library of congress and the capitol building after. Incredible sights and our guide Meg was great. 10/10
