What To Expect
Jeita Grotto
The Jeita Grotto, a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves which have formed over millions of years, is the longest cave complex in the Middle East. It is located 300 metres above sea level and has a height difference of 305 metres. The Jeita upper cave has an overall length of 2,130 metres and contains a great concentration of a variety of crystallized formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns, mushrooms, ponds, curtains and draperies. The lower gallery which has an overall length of 6,200 metres is located 60 metres below the upper gallery. It is traversed by a smooth underwater river and a lake.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon
The shrine of our Lady of Lebanon is one of the most important shrines in the world honoring the Virgin Mary and located in Harissa, a key Christian pilgrimage site in Lebanon. The shrine is highlighted by a huge, 15-ton bronze statue of the Immaculate Conception, Mother of God. It is 8.5 m high and has a diameter of five meters. The Virgin Mary stretches her hands towards Beirut overlooking the Bay of Jounieh in one of the most attractive panoramic views in the world.

5.00Mike was wonderful. From the moment he picked us up the trip was so much fun. Nothing was too much trouble for Mike and he took such care with all of us to ensure we were safe at all times. We have 11 people in our party and managing them all could have been challenging but his kind and friendly personality made it enjoyable for all concerned. I would never go to Lebanon or a trip to Beirut without him and his company.Very highly recommend. Sarah

5.00Really enjoyed this trip. Albert was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. There was lots packed into the day trip, I would say this is a must do trip when in lebanon. The caves at the beginning of the tour are breathtaking, followed by amazing views across the city from up high on the next stop. The lunch at the end of the trip was a great end to a brilliant day. Highly recommended!

5.00I had a fantastic experience with Albert and the tour company while visiting Lebanon. We explored Jeita Byblos, and Harissa, and everything was well organized and seamless. Albert was friendly, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. He was easy to talk to, very professional, and made the entire day enjoyable with great conversation and insightful explanations about each site and Lebanon in general. His knowledge really enhanced the experience. Due to my limited time, I wasn’t able to see some of the other tours I was interested in. I would absolutely book with this company again and highly recommend both Albert and the tour company to anyone visiting Lebanon.

5.00‘Mike’ is super friendly and helpful. This is a great day trip from Beiruit 👍 Started with an easy, quick and comfortable trip to the grotto, before visiting the Harosa statue overlooking the coast. Cable cars down are super cool, and finished up in Byblos. But unfortunately the worker strike meant we coundnt enter the castle. Fund day trip - Recommended 👍
