We pick you up at your hotel and take you to the starting point of the trail.
We begin our activity and after 2 hours of trekking we will arrive at the Esmeralda Lagoon. We will continue along the right bank to begin to ascend to the Ojo del Albino glacier.
An hour later, we will be traveling through high mountain terrain where a lot of concentration is required.
At 7 km, we will stop to enjoy a delicious lunch in the mountains and a short rest.
We will continue to the Balcones del Ojo del Albino where we will have an incredible view of the Esmeralda lagoon and its entire high valley.
After 10 km of travel and reaching a height of 1200m, we will climb a wall to reach the impressive Ojo del Albino Glacier.
When the physical conditions of the passenger and the meteorological conditions of the place are optimal, we will ascend and walk on the ice.
Around 3:00 p.m. we will start the return along the same path.

After our guide picks you up from your accommodation we go to the trailhead about 20 minutes from the city.
Laguna Esmeralda
It will take about 2 hours to arrive to the lagoon we will take a short rest to appreciate it and we will continue with our ascent to the Ojo del Albino Glacier

5.00An incredible experience that is worth it. The guide Juliano is well experienced, led us safely and explained everything about the local culture. The difficulty is from medium to high, but by keeping a constant you can complete the journey and the view is spectacular: it is worth it.

5.00A unique experience. Spectacular views as we walked towards the glacier. The walk was rated average, but it wasn't too bad. We had a great guide who was very knowledgeable. My favorite part was the dogs that walked with us, it's worth it.

5.00The trail was beautiful, super challenging and exciting. The guide was attentive and gave important tips for the journey, in addition to dictating an appropriate pace for the activity. They provide foot cleats, helmet and an excellent snack. We don't recommend doing it without a guide!

5.00We climbed with the guide Diego, started in an emerald lagoon, crossed the forest path and passed through the left bank where the orange rocks are. Once up we made glacier transit. It was amazing, right there we had lunch. Thanks for the experience
