Avoid the crowded boats and enjoy a relaxed small-group turtle tour in Zakynthos. With just a few guests on board, there’s space to relax and enjoy a more personal experience with a friendly local skipper.

We explore the Zakynthos Marine Park, where turtles are often seen close to the boat. If conditions allow and it’s safe, you may even have the chance to swim near them. You’ll also visit hidden beaches and sea caves, and thanks to the smaller boat, we can enter some caves to experience the stunning blue water up close.

This tour is ideal for those looking for a smaller group, a relaxed pace, and a well-organised experience from start to finish, including guests visiting Zakynthos by cruise ship.

Due to Greek maritime law, every passenger — including children and infants — must be counted as a full seat. This allows us to keep groups small and comfortable. To make the experience more accessible for families, we offer reduced rates for younger guests.

The boat is easily accessible via the beach but not wheelchair accessible. It is a 100 meter walk from the car park. The captain will meet you at the carpark (official meeting point of tour) and show you to the boat. To enter the boat we must walk to the boat and enter via a small step onto the back of the boat. The captain and crew will assist you. To reach the boat we must walk through shallow water for ten meters.

What To Expect

Turtle Spot Zakynthos

Every year hundreds of Caretta Caretta sea turtles emigrate to the shores of Zakynthos. This tour gives you the perfect opportunity to see them swimming in their natural habitat. Our small boat does not bother or overshadow the turtles. They often swim happily by the side of the boat oblivious to the fact that we are there. This gives you peace of mind knowing that we are not disturbing them. this also allows us the perfect view and holiday photographs. Plus If your captain thinks that it is safe for you and the turtles he will allow you to jump in and swim peacefully alongside them giving you an experience that you'll never forget.

Keri Caves

You'll explore the large caves and coves of Keri, where you'll stop for a swim in the crystal-clear blue waters. One advantage of using a small boat is that you can actually enter the caves—something larger boats can't do. Inside, you’ll witness spectacular sunlight reflections off the deep waters, turning them bright blue. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even swim through a small connecting tunnel between the caves.

Amazing trip, from pick up to drop off. A wonderful small boat trip with just 6 of us, saw turtles, amazing caves and scenery and great sea swims. Totally recommend.

All through fantastic trip where we were only 6 people in the boat. We saw turtles, had fantastic swimming trips in the azure blue sea. When a fellow passenger lost his phone, our tour guide dive down after it. Today's hero😊 The trip will always be a huge memory. Even in the harbor we saw turtles ↓.

My husband, my 8 year old daughter and I had a great time, we saw 4 turtles, and they surfaced really close to the boat, it was breathtaking to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat whilst being on a small boat and so not threatening them. We were amazed the boat squeezed into the beautiful caves to see the vibrant blue water. I would strongly recommend this trip, the pick up and drop from our hotel was handy.

A beautiful experience, we saw several turtles and the captain told us many interesting things. We were able to take perfect photos and stopped twice for swimming! A perfect trip, I would book it again anytime! Thank you 🐢🩷

I booked this tour with my mom. We had a super nice tour guide. He could tell us a lot about the turtles and answer our questions. We saw 4 turtles during the tour! It was animal friendly and we enjoyed every minute. I would really recommend this experience and definitely book again.

Fantastic experience! Seen about 7 different turtles and even got the chance to swim with one! We were here at the end of May, so it was really ideal. Dimitri tried very hard to find the turtles but remained extremely respectful to the critters and kept his distance. Wonderful tour, beautiful things seen, highlight of our trip!

We had a great time. Captain Thomas was brilliant. He was so careful around the turtles and knowledgeable. It was fantastic to see them. Seeing Turtle island and the caves was stunning. Really worth going on this trip and it was very family focused. Our children had an amazing time and won’t stop talking about the turtles they saw. Thank you so much.
