David was excellent! I love a good walking tour to orient me to a new city and this was one of the best. We learned a lot about the history and culture of Amsterdam with the added benefits of local recommendations for food and places to go later. David is very jovial and loves this city, it’s infectious!

Despite the weather Dave gave us a wonderful tour. We l learned much about Amsterdam and the Dutch people. He had many Amsterdam stories that he shared with us. His knowledge of art and love of the special art in Amsterdam was shared with the group. Thank you Dave for a most enjoyable tour. We were lucky to find you. Best Ellen and Fred

A very entertaining and informative walk around Amsterdam with a small group led by David. 3 hours that just flew by with a host of tips on where to go to buy what which really set us up for exploring on our own for the rest of our time in this lively city. Would highly recommend

We really enjoyed David’s walking tour. It was so much more than a look at this, look at that tour - you could tell David was passionate about the country and its culture.

David was absolutely brilliant. The small group of seven made it feel friendly and relaxed. He took us to both well-known and lesser-known areas around Amsterdam. I’m very happy I booked this three-hour tour. As a heartfelt gesture, David gave each of us a postcard featuring scenic views of Amsterdam. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was a great storyteller. We didn’t walk in all the listed areas, but we learnt a lot about some nooks and crannies we may never have gotten to see.

Our guide David has created a unique experience for his walking tour. Rather than focus on old buildings and churches, he emphasizes what it is like to live in the Netherlands and what it is like to be Dutch. You might visit the Van Stapele cookie store that has become wildly successful by keeping it simple and doing only one thing, but doing it very well. You may also visit the Het Begijnhof, a historic home for elderly women, exemplifying how the Dutch look after one another. This tour was a truly great experience and David has clearly put a great deal of thought into making it unique and informative.
