  • Great to know Amsterdam fast with someone who loves it.

David was truly wonderful - very knowledgeable about everything Dutch, he brought it to life with a thespian buzz. This is a great way to get to know Amsterdam quickly, see some parts you'd miss as a standard tourist AND make art interesting (amazing feat!). I get the impression David just loves showing off his adopted city as only an outsider could. Highly recommended. Thank you David

If you are contemplating booking a tour with David, do it! We had the pleasure to be guided by him at the incredible Rijksmuseum. His knowledge and wit was truly a treat. He was extremely knowledgeable. We would have missed so many details about the masterpieces in the museum without him there. We highly recommend him and look forward to booking again with him on our next visit to Amsterdam. P.s. If you get the chance to book the 9am tour, David will take you to see the most popular artwork before it gets overrun with people. He took several photos of us when we had the place all to ourselves. A true highlight!!

We had a 3-hour Rikjsmuseum tour with David on 10/23/25 at 0900. The experience with him was epic and unforgettable. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion are unique. Thanks to him, we were able to appreciate the beautiful artwork on a different level. He took the time to talk about Dutch history and how the artwork and other pieces we saw were relevant to their times. He pointed out tiny significant details in each piece that we would have missed or been unaware of their meanings. His tour was one of those few where the time truly flew and as soon as it was over, you think, “I would do that all over again right this minute.” If you get an opportunity to do a tour with David, you should. You won’t be disappointed and you will have a deeper understanding of a very interesting slice of world history.

Great walking tour with David. We saw so many things that we would have never discovered on our own. David shared historical insight as well as current events. I would tell anyone that is visiting Amsterdam to book a tour.

We had a tour with David yesterday, and it was just amazing. David's knowledge and humor makes the trip a fun and educational one. I'd absolutely recommend David to anyone who wants to know more about the beautiful city of Amsterdam ❤️ Mind you, he will protect you with his life whenever you need to cross a street. Which is an experience itself, hahaha.

Our walking tour with David was phenomenal; doing these tours in a small group is definitely key. David took some time to get to know us and what we had seen and used this to "fine-tune" our experience. He has lived in Amsterdam for several years and his Dutch was very good; this allowed him to communicate seamlessly during the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Amsterdam and The Netherlands past, present, and future. David also gave us very good recommendations on places to go for dinner, drinks, specific shopping experiences, and things to avoid. This tour was a great way to start our Amsterdam adventure.

Grate experience roaming about town with David..he was easy to find with his red umbrella. Gives you an thoughtful insight to the city's living history and the pain and the happiness it has experienced over the years..the importance and thoughtfulness of Dutch freedom..tells you about little things that makes Amsterdam the place it is. Oh also his love for art you can see when he speaks. PS: David will take great pictures for you. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
