The tour begins at Skanderbeg Square, the central hub of Tirana. National Historical Museum (exterior visit) During our walk through Skanderbeg Square, we stop in front of the National Historical Museum to admire its impressive facade. The guide will explain the meaning of the large mosaic called “The Albanians”, a powerful artwork symbolizing the country’s history and unity. We do not enter the museum, but this stop offers great insight into Albania’s past through its most iconic mural.

5.00My tour guide was Skerdi, he contacted me before the tour began to ensure I was aware of the exact location to meet. He explained a lot of interesting facts to me throughout the tour and shared a few personal stories with me as well. Skedi kept the tour interesting and provided plenty of recommendations for cafe's, bars and restaurants which we nice.
