  As the tour description promises, Sunil took me into the narrow streets and alleys of old Kathmandu. Most tourists don't venture there as they would get lost in no time. It is busy, colourful, crowded with pedestrians and scooters. Just locals going about their daily lives. Sunil is very knowledgeable and very happy to share this aspect of his city with a visitor.

  We spent a very interesting afternoon with Sunil discovering the hidden side of Kathmandu, strolling through the small streets, discovering squares, monuments on every street corner, and soaking up the Nepalese culture and smells .   It’s such a privilege to have Sunil as my guide for exploring the hidden gems in Kathmandu and Patan. He is a one-of-a-kind guide who is gentle, sophisticated, thoughtful, and sensitive to others’ needs. He makes sure you feel comfortable in this overwhelming city, and helps you understand and appreciate the authentic charms of the local community and food. He speaks prefect English and explains things in an easy-to-understand manner, which is extremely helpful when it comes to complex cultural and religious topics.   Had a great walking tour with Sunil. Learned a heap about the culture and society in Nepal. It was the quiet season so I was the only one on the tour but Sunil ran it anyway. A great way to get oriented in Kathmandu. Highly recommended.

  We enjoyed going off the beaten path and seeing the real Kathmandu and local shopping areas. Our guide, Sunil was a very knowledgeable and friendly person. Would definitely recommend this walking tour to access some difficult to maneuver spots in the city, learn about locals, and see nearby attractions.

  We had a professional and educated local guide that was able to make sense of all of the sights, sounds and smells around us. Kathmandu can be an overwhelming city and this really helped pare it down for us. I also appreciated his insights about things like education and government and it was a fantastic learning experience. It was the right amount of time and good value.
