Embark on a 4 hour semi-private charter experience to Turtle Cove and Honeymoon Beach. At Turtle Cove on Buck Island, St Thomas; we’ll have your snorkel gear prepared for you to explore coral reefs home to tropical fish like Sargent Majors, hamlets, parrotfish, surgeonfish, squirrelfish, and other sea life including turtles. Once the group is finished snorkeling, enjoy cold beer, sodas, and water.
Please note that depending on weather and ocean conditions, the Captain may substitute Brewers Bay for snorkeling and Emerald Beach at Lindbergh Bay for beach, food and beverages.
*Depending on availability, guests will enjoy MV Hydra, MV Poseidon, MV Aquarius or other comparable vessel based on availability. Departure is 9 AM or 2 PM

What To Expect
Embark on a 4 hour semi-private charter experience to Turtle Cove and Honeymoon Beach. At Turtle Cove on Buck Island, St Thomas; we’ll have your snorkel gear prepared for you to explore coral reefs home to tropical fish like Sargent Majors, hamlets, parrotfish, squirrelfish, and other sea life including turtles. Once the group is finished snorkeling, enjoy cold beer, sodas, and water. After Turtle Cove, St Thomas we’ll whisk you away to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. At the #1 beach on TripAdvisor, enjoy the white sand and crystal blue waters. You can visit the world-famous Dinghy's Beach Bar where Pain Killers flow and the fresh Mahi tacos are a must. Your experience is complete with a boat ride home to the WICO/Havensight Day Dock. The snorkeling was fine and I believe it should be advertised as a snorkeling excursion without listing the beach.

1.00Captain was not polite. The boat was anchored at least 50 yards from the beach stop. You had to swim to the beach, which means you could not take towels, phone or money.

2.00Disappointing experience. The captain provided basic safety equipment but offered zero guidance on how to use it. He skipped over the basics of snorkeling and mask fitting, essentially assuming everyone on board was an expert. Beyond the lack of safety prep, he was totally indifferent to the group—never checked in to see if we were having fun or finding any marine life. Not recommended for beginners or anyone looking for a guided experience.

5.00Amazing experience! Rusty, the Captain for Seas the Day was helpful and informative. He knows the are well. Highly recommend taking this excursion. My daughter has a horrible fear of the ocean, but even she couldn’t help but ride in the front of the boat, laughing and having the time of her life up there.

3.00We went to two snorkel destinations. We did not see any turtles and there was not much direction we were just told to follow the other tour groups. There was only one staff member with us, so one was not available to come in the water with us in point things out. Also in the booking it said we will be brought to honeymoon Beach for lunch however the boat anchored and the tour guy told us it’s a five minute swim to the island. We were not prepared and did not bring any wet bags for our money. Luckily the tour guide had something we could borrow for this. We did have to rush for lunch on the island due to this. We did see two turtles while snorkeling there though!

5.00We really liked that it was a small group (there were only seven of us on our trip). Safe, enjoyable trip for snorkelers of various levels of experience. We saw turtles, coral, lots of fish and beautiful views of the islands. Thank you Captain Rusty!

5.00Braysen was a fantastic captain, we enjoyed our excursion and saw many sea turtles and fish! Only thing that needs to be changed is the meeting point, needs to be near 13 restaurant or VI jet boat tours. Could not find R bar on maps and location pin showed south of virgin’s haven restaurant, which was incorrect.
