The tour is called snorkeling with turtles but there were no turtles during the majority of our visit. Only after we left the water did someone mention vaguely seeing a turtle. Our tour guide was very informative at the beginning and shared a lot about the island and its history. However, he did not stay woth us during the snorkeling or beach visit, so we felt a bit abandoned. Kenepa Grandi was beautiful, the waters were clear, and the views remarkable. The beach also had tons of sunbeds and umbrellas. The experience would have benefited from some sort of meal or food vender. The smoothie stand had great quality products but nothing on the menu for lunch. Overall, we hand a good time but not great, so I rate it a 3 out of 5

The tour should have read, we will take you to a gross beach where they charge $15 for a chair and you might get lucky and see a turtle, lots of people are snorkeling around looking for the turtles but there are none, then if your are lucky you might see a flamingo half a mile away when we drive by (I couldn’t see them) and the best beach on the excursion is fantastic but we will only spend 45 minutes there.

This excursion has unfortunately not brought us what we expected. Only 2 beaches were visited and the visit to the flamingos was skipped, on the grounds that they “would not be seen anyway”. If you really want to explore the island and discover the most beautiful beaches, it is probably more meaningful and fun to rent a car yourself and drive along the many beautiful beaches at your own pace and choose which beach suits you. Renting a car is necessary on Curacao anyway. While the tour may be suitable for some, we found that this excursion added little to nothing to what you can do independently (and maybe even better). As far as we are concerned: not recommended.

This excursion was well balanced. Anita was very informative sharing the history and culture of Curacao. She was GREAT! It was the right amount of time hiking in the caves and swimming with the turtles.. The best part of this trip was the magnificent views, the beach and pool at Playa Kalki! We wished we had more time there! Don't forget your water shoes!

This trip should be titled different because the turtles are just a small portion of this amazing experience! Everything from the flamingos to the last stop at the most beautiful beach was top notch. Ruth gave us so much valuable knowledge of their proud island that gave us so much context to the area. The bus was comfortable and air-conditioned. I would recommend this to anyone! Go ahead and book it! You won’t regret it!
