Getting to swim up close with these beautiful creatures and being able to observe them in their natural habitat is something rare and unforgetable! We do not feed the turtles or interfere with their natural lifestyle in any way, so this is a real nature experience!

What To Expect

This is a guided snorkeltrip that will take you to one of the locations locally known to have the most turtles and lots of fish. After this it is a 15 minut drive to see the wild flamingo's, the bonairian national animal. The guide is a PADI scuba diving instructor with over 20 years of experience and knows plenty of fun facts about the local marine life. The trip usually invaulves auite some swimming. If you prefer to not have to swim much or are not comfortable in the water make sure to tell your guide in advance so we can adjust the snorkel route by entering on a difrent spot! There will be a verry high propability of seeing turtles up close, but since we do not want to have any interfearence with nature in any way, (for example feeding to lure turtles) there is always a posibility of no turtle to be found. That doesn't mean the trip is not interesting since the beautiful corals and fish are still very nice to see and your guide can tell you many interesting facts about them for those who are interested.

Krista was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable about everything we saw. Since we had the time, she took us back to our cruise ship the long way so we could see/ learn more. And snorkeling was amazing! She made sure we saw so much wildlife! 100% recommend! This company in general is great. I forgot my phone in the truck and had no service to call so I only had email. They responded very quickly and he met me to get it back to me. I so appreciate quick response I got!

What a super cool experience. Guide was friendly, told a lot and was very knowledgeable. We had found sea turtles in no time and he also made us a video of swimming with the turtles with our own underwater camera! After this tour around the southern part of the island and spotted flamingos, went to a bar for a drink. All in all highly recommended!

Tour was rearranged to the afternoon to give my partner a 'special surprise' for his birthday, the tour was then cancelled by the operator 6 minutes before the start time due to a medical issue on the operators side. Very disappointing that there was not another tour guide to take us on the booked excursion. We received an apology from the operator but sadly this very nearly ruined our 1 day trip to Bonaire. Thankfully we booked with another company at the cruise port who went above and beyond to make our day in Bonaire extra special. Would recommend to book with Tropical Travel Bonaire located on the cruise port wearing orange shirts.

Didn't think I would be scammed by a fellow belgian.. Paid my excursion in euros and agreed to get the change in dollars but he didn't give me my change back. Gave 20 $ when it was supposed to be 30 $. Not very happy with the lack of honesty..

Our guide, Jim, was great! He knew just the spot to see turtles and other reef fish. We were able to snorkel right off the shore. After seeing lots of fish and turtles, we took a drive and got to see wild donkeys and flamingos. Totally worthwhile excursion.
Saw several sea turtles and flocks of flamingos.

We had a great time. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. After picking us up at the resort we were staying at, he led us on a snorkeling excursion during which we saw a variety of fish and several turtles just off the shore. Next, we headed east and made a stop to view Sorobon Beach and the windsurfing crowd there. My wife even did a bit of shopping. The last portion of the trip was seeing flocks of flamingos before being returned to the resort.

We saw several turtles and flocks of flamingos. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We also took a little stop at Sorobon Beach which was the only part of Bonaire not included on an earlier tour of the island we had taken earlier in the week. Being picked up directly at our hotel made the excursion very convenient.
