What To Expect
【Tour Location】 - Shigira Beach Shigira Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Miyakojima and great location for beginners trying snorkeling for the first time. The total tour duration is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, including meeting time and preparation. Snorkeling tours are generally conducted even in rainy weather. However, please note that the tour may be canceled if sea conditions are unfavorable. *Please note that the tour time or location may change depending on sea conditions, wind direction, and weather on the day of the tour. 【Meeting Point】 - Shigira Beach Parking Lot 【What to Bring】 • Swimwear (or comfortable clothes that can get wet) • Bath towel • Drinking water • Beach sandals (marine shoes are ok)

5.00Our snorkeling experience was great! Ken was very professional and kind. He took care of us and explained all the safety precautions to take. He made sure to get us there when it wasn't too busy and we were lucky enough to find two turtles this day. Thanks so much for the amazing photos! My husband booked a second tour with him two days later, thats how great he was! I was sad to not join but I was feeling unwell. I would highly recommend doing any tour he offers! Especially if you are looking for someone to have a great conversation with and get some tips and recommendations at the end if you have questions about the island.

Ken speaks excellent English—which isn’t always common in this area—and that made a big difference for us, especially when it came to feeling safe and informed. He takes safety very seriously, which immediately put us at ease. He was upfront in explaining that seeing a sea turtle isn’t guaranteed, but thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to see two! He also took wonderful photos for us and pointed out a variety of fish and other marine life that we would have otherwise missed. What really stood out was his respect for the environment. He showed genuine care for the sea turtles and the surrounding ecosystem, which was very important to us. We couldn’t recommend Ken more—if you’re considering a tour, definitely book with him!

5.00Ken was SO wonderful!!. His English is impeccable, he is patient, kind and fun. My husband and I have two different skill levels and he was able to make a snorkeling adventure entertaining and interesting for us both. He makes the trip completely about the best experience for the customer. I can't say enough about being led by an instructor who cares deeply about preserving the environment, experiencing the natural environment professionally and safely, while being fun and engaging. You will not miss a thing with Ken at the helm!

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Private Snorkeling Experience with Ken at "English Miyako Tours" My wife and I booked a private snorkeling tour with Ken, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. My wife had never snorkeled before, and Ken was incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. He took his time making sure she felt completely comfortable in the water, never rushed her, and checked in often to be sure she was enjoying herself. Thanks to his patience and calm guidance, she had a superb first experience. I was especially impressed by Ken’s sincere demeanor and genuine kindness toward both of us. He carries himself with a quiet confidence that immediately puts you at ease. His knowledge of the area, the marine life, and the reef ecosystem was outstanding, and it was clear he cares deeply about protecting the wildlife and preserving the environment. Another unexpected bonus was the photos he took during the trip — they were beautiful, natural, and captured moments we’ll treasure for a long time. If you’re considering a snorkeling tour, especially a private one, I can’t recommend Ken highly enough. He turned a simple outing into a meaningful, memorable experience for us both.

5.00Ken was a breathe of fresh air! Not only was his English impeccable, he was kind, knowledgeable, patient and thorough. Although my husband had diving experience i had very little and he was able to make our snorkeling experience memorable and eventful for us both which is hard to accomplishe when there is a vast difference in skill and experience. Ken took his time to prioritize an exceptional experience. We enjoyed him so much we.jumped at the chance to join his half day excursion to teach us the history and show us the hidden gems in Miyako jima! Its without reservation that I highly recommend him as a guide for your activities!

Ken speaks perfect English Ken took amazing care of us Ken showed us the best spots and took pictures Ken made sure all gear suited us as per safety and comfort Ken managed to navigate tight weather conditions over a 48 hour period and select the optimal period to maximize snorkeling experience I cannot rate this experience highly enough Thank you!

Highly recommended tour – Ken is very patient and attentive, takes lovely souvenir photos for you and makes sure you have a great experience. You simply can’t leave Miyakojima without doing this! P.S. Ken’s English is excellent, so you’ll have no trouble communicating with him

5.00Scuba diving in coral reef is such an incredible experience and this was made a special one thanks to our guide Ken who was very prepared and attentive. He analyzed the weather and other conditions so he could choose the beach and the ride that would give us the best experience and it really was super! We had a chance to find Nemo! Moreover Ken can speak english, which is rare in Miyakojima.
