Green Island offers the unique opportunity for a combined reef and rainforest experience, just 45 minutes from Cairns by fast catamaran. Home to over 120 native plant species and colourful bird life, surrounded by abundant marine life. Full and half day options available. Your day can be as active or as relaxing as you choose.
As a Great Adventures guest, youâll also be able to enjoy many exclusive inclusions such as the use of the island swimming pool and a self guided eco island walk to discover some of the islandâs unique rainforest flora. The islandâs well appointed day visitor facilities include a pool bar, plus restaurant and retail outlets. A delicious range of lunch and snacks can be purchased from the islandâs food and refreshment outlets.

Michelle D5.0Sep 2024This was amazing. We saw hermit crabs, giant clams and heaps of tropical fish. A few turtles popped their heads up too. The snorkelling was so cool, the fish swim right near you. The rainbow parrotfish were beautiful đTop day out

Amen K5.0Sep 2024We went as a family and really enjoyed the whole experience. The glass bottom boat was great! The operator was knowledgeable and we saw plenty of fish. Snorkelling on the island itself was amazing, self guided though so be aware. Overall great experience and would recommend for families. We had no problem carrying our stroller on board the boats there and back.
