We knew we were a bit late in the season. What we didn’t know was that we’d be among the last ones out there! Luckily, our guide Jerry made sure we didn’t miss a thing on our snowmobile arctic adventure. This trip was meant to be our dream vacation and thanks to Jerry, it really was. He started by teaching us the basics of snowmobiling, and then took us through some truly breathtaking landscapes. The freshly cooked meal along the way was a real highlight! Absolutely unforgettable. Jerry also had a great knowledge of the place. He knew all the local stories: history, the old mines, the housing market, even a bit of local gossip. He kept us entertained and informed the whole time. Communication with Kiruna Guidetur was quick and easy. We had a few extra questions beforehand, and they kept us in the loop about the snow conditions leading up to our trip. The hotel pickup was super convenient, too. So yes, we can wholeheartedly recommend both Jerry and Kiruna Guidetur. We hope everyone gets to have an adventure like this!

An exceptional tour! Our guide, Jerry, was a 10/10. Mountain trails for beginners, followed by backcountry, where more experienced people can throttle up a little bit. All of this followed by a delicious dinner in a mountain cabin. Unbeatable.

Super experience. Jeremy and Dorian were amazing: they taught us how to drive safely and checked continously if we were fine and confident. Very good dinner in a cozy atmosphere with plenty of local anecdotes. Unfortunately Northern Lights did not show up but it's defintely beyond the organization :)

Experience that I recommend.Nice to drive the snowmobile even at high speed. Unfortunately we could not see the aurora because it was cloudy. Good dinner in front of the fire, friendly and welcoming companions.

The tour was amazing. We stop several times to see the auroras and at the end we have a warm meal with typical food and some informations about what we were eating and the history of the wild nature.

Great evening spent driving (sometimes pretty fast) through woodland and across frozen lakes on snowmobiles. Staff great and very informative, we really enjoyed the meal and conversations with the people on the trip. Learnt lots about life in Lapland along the way. Only downside was that the overcast conditions meant we didn't see the Northern Lights. Even without that, recommended.

What an amazing night! Thanks so much to both of our hosts for looking after us so well. On arrival you are given snow suits and boots to wear. My only small criticism is with the snow suit, which had velcro on it and it kept getting caught on my jumper and pulled it. Overall the snow suit was challenging for me to get on, but once on it was great and did the trick. We were then taken by van to the snow mobiles. I was a little concerned about what it was going to be like, but they give you full instructions on how to drive it, and as it was my husband and I, we were both given the opportunity to drive the snow mobile. I left my husband to drive it, as I found it quite challenging. And then we set off in a line with a guide at the front and one at the back. Every now and then they stopped for people to swap over driving and the to check we were all ok. It was magical riding through the forest and speeding over the frozen lakes. About two hours into the journey we stopped and went into a small wooden hut, where we sat as the guides started a fire and cooked us the most fabulous reindeer stew and served up hot lingonberry juice. They topped this off with a fabulous piece of cake with cream and jam on it. Throughout the meal time our hosts were telling us all about Sweden and the Sami people. It was all rather romantic (even with several people) and just very different to anything I have ever experienced. After dinner we drove back. Unfortunately, we didnt manage to see the Aurora Borealis, but got some great tips about an app that we ended up downloading, which tells you the best chance of seeing it. A really great start to our trip to Kiruna, and highly recommended.
