  It has been an amazing experience, it has been very good weather, the dogs are very well looked after, the workers very friendly, especially our gigi guide, who has translated everything we did not understand into Spanish as well as being a very attentive person with us.

  We made three excursions with Nordic Unique Travel and the Husky trip was the excursion that surprised us! The connection you make with the dogs pulling the sled is wonderful and running through the snowy woods of Finnish Lapland is priceless! Our very kind Vichy guide.   We actually took the 5 km one but I guess it’s the same. We didn’t like the experience that much, the owner of the place didn’t explain anything to us about the dogs, the tradition behind it etc. the ride itself had a nice view, it was on a frozen lake, so you get the same view for the whole ride and you have to go with strangers if you’re not a group of 4 people. Also the dogs didn’t go fast, maybe because they were tired? Not sure how many rides they do per day. I would give 5+ stars to our guide Cristina, she was the only one to actually explain what kind of dogs they used for the ride, the history etc and she was super nice and prepared, so I would definitely recommend to take tours with her!

  I recently participated in the 5 km Snowy Trails Husky Safari with Nordic Unique Travels in Rovaniemi, and it was an exhilarating experience. Our guide, Heidi, was exceptional; she took great care of us and provided fascinating insights into the lives and training of huskies. It was something I'll never forget. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone seeking an authentic Arctic experience.

  Third time doing dog sledding with my daughter, and this is by far the least enjoyable experience. When mass tourism meet mass dog farm (over 200 dogs)... On arrival, the huge dog farm is not the most enjoyable experience for children. Also with 15 sleds on a short track you spend a lot of time waiting on the track and not riding. Was surprised to see that in this package, clothing is not included on the price and must be rented separately while guide doesn’t actually check that you are equipped adequately before leaving. So, from my experience, if you can find smaller group and smaller dog farms the experience is so much more enjoyable.

  Great service getting us to the farm and making sure we understand what we will be doing and how the tour will be run. Compared to other activities and experiences unfortunately this didn’t meet our expectations, it’s heavily commercialised and huge groups! We were constantly stopping during the sledge 10km and going at a very slow pace to ensure we didn’t lose other groups. Your tour is based on the whole group not just yourself which is disappointment considering how much you pay. The dogs are very lovely and being up close and personal with them is very nice.

  Never book with Nordic Unique Travels! We planned our entire day around a husky ride we booked through a third-party company, only to have it canceled at the last minute. Just two hours before the tour, we were informed that it was overbooked. This is completely unprofessional and not the customer’s fault. We spoke to a woman named Veronica, who offered a refund, but that doesn’t make up for the inconvenience and frustration caused by their lack of organization. Overbooking and canceling at the last moment shows a complete disregard for customers’ time and trust. If you’re looking for a dependable company to plan your activities, avoid Nordic Unique Travels. Their poor communication and inability to honor bookings will ruin your plans.
