What To Expect
Learn how to paddle white water in a fun and safe environment. If you’ve always wanted to try white-water kayaking but don’t have any experience, this is the perfect introduction. Our course is designed for beginners, as well as those who want to improve their basic skills. With the guidance of our experienced instructors, you’ll learn essential techniques such as paddling, steering, and reading the river—all adapted to your pace and comfort level. The activity is suitable for anyone who is a confident swimmer and eager to try something new. You’ll spend approximately 2,5 hours on the water, fully immersed in the experience, plus around 1 hour for transport to and from the river. By the end of the session, you’ll feel more confident, capable, and ready to take on new river adventures.

5.00The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. We booked with the campsite and the company picked us up promptly in the morning. We were then taken to the centre to get kit and boats and then to the river. It was all very slick and professional. Our coach was very friendly and once ready to get on the water she gave an excellent briefing and was super supportive and encouraging throughout the session. We were a party of 4 (2 beginners and 2 experienced paddlers) and Fee (our coach) focused on the beginners, teaching skills to help them navigate safely. The scenery was also absolutely stunning. We would highly recommend this company if you want to kayak.

5.00I did three days of Kayak school with Aktivni Planet and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. All the equipment was great, I felt very safe and improved heaps through the three days from never having Kayaked before to doing Class II rapids with confidence. I have to shout out Feli and Jaka, all fantastic instructors who know how to teach as well as they know how to kayak! A very experienced team, you can't go wrong. I'll be back for a longer course for sure.

5.00Absolutely loved it. It was my first time in a kayak and I was a bit nervous. Our guide Feli was great in explaining the basics to us, but also in making everybody feel comfortable. The landscape is absolutely amazing and the length of the trip (about 3 hours), for me, was ideal for a beginner's course. I would love to go on the follow up course; but unfortunately it's the end of our stay here.

5.00We had an incredible time kayaking with Aktivini Planet on the beautiful Soča River. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—clear turquoise water surrounded by dramatic mountain views. But what really made the experience stand out was our guide, Feli. Feli was simply fantastic. She was super friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. She made everyone feel safe and confident, while still keeping the tour exciting and fun. Her instructions were clear, her energy was contagious, and she had a great sense of humor that kept the whole group smiling. It was one of those experiences you don’t forget. If you're thinking about doing a Kajak tour in the Soča Valley, I can’t recommend Aktivini Planet—and especially Feli—highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

5.00We booked a beginner class kayaking. There was good time to gain confidence with the kayaks and the water. And there was also plenty of time for a fun route with a par rapids with beautiful views. Good guidance, great organization. Highly recommended to enjoy the river and the surrounding area while also learning some new things.
