What To Expect
Sofia
During the tour you will visit the three most important churches of the town: the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Saint Sofia Basilica and Saint George Rotunda, and you will see all main sites in the city center, such as: the old Parliament, the Sinod, the Library, the monument of king Liberator, the old Royal residence, the National theater, the Largo complex, the presidency, the Roman Remains, the old Baths, the judicial palace and more! After the tour you will also receive some recommendations for traditional restaurants and museums, if you are interested in visiting such!

5.00I was with my son and we actually got a “private” tour as we were the only people in the group. Our guide was Vasil, organized and very knowledgeable. In only two hours we saw many places and little spots that alone we would or already missed. Of course we want to see some places more detailed, but without this introductory tour we would not know about them. Vasil provided us with lots of historical info and facts. I would recommend this tour for everyone who has limited time in Sofia, for first time visitors at the beginning of their stay.

5.00Pleasant visit, despite the windy weather. Our guide has enhanced this tour with very interesting historical and cultural elements. We have seen beautiful buildings and monuments. I recommend this visit which allows to have a beautiful overview of the center of Sofia in 2 hours.

5.00I had a lovely experience with Vasil. I had booked a small group tour but was the only person to have booked so I had a great private tour experience. Vasil was very knowledgeable and adapted to interests. We walked around for 2 hours, where he explained the history and culture of Sofia. He also answered all my questions and gave me tips for the rest of my trip. 10/10 highly recommended

5.00I really enjoyed this walking tour of Sofia. Everything was well organised from start to finish, and it was easy to find the meeting point. Our guide spoke clear, confident English and kept the pace comfortable, with plenty of time for questions and photos. The route covered the main highlights as well as a few quieter corners I would never have noticed on my own. The stories and historical context were engaging without feeling overwhelming, and the recommendations for food and local places were genuinely useful. Overall, a professional, friendly experience that I would happily recommend to anyone visiting Sofia. Great value too.
