A very good trip if you want to escape the hectic of Dhaka. Tanvir was a very knowledgeable guide who told a lot about the history. Visit to Maya island was very nice to get an insight in rural life. Thanks to a little boy who shows us around.

Panam City is a street with 52 houses of British Mughal architecture, giving an excellent impression of how wealthy Hindu traders lived at the time. The centerpiece is the perfectly restored landlord's residence. The additional excursion to the nearby Mayadwip peninsula using one of the local boats added an unusual insight into life along the river Meghna. Personally I also enjoyed the safe drive between Panam City and Dhaka, which provided panorama view of Dhaka from the elevated freeway, as well as impressions of Dhaka street life and local villages. The tour was well organbized and safe all the way, and gave me a nice mix of impressions in the one day I had available for a trip.

We covered panam as part of our weeklong tour with insignia tours. This was my first time visiting this place. An abondoned city with old buildings. But what we love mostly is the visit to a riverside village. They took great care of us and the guide was really knowledgable and friendly. Best travel agency in bangladesh. If you ever think of a bangladesh tour then take tour from insignia.

When I was researching where to go in Bangladesh during my trip planning, I saw a picture of Panam Nagar and I found it very intriguing. I decided I wanted to see it in person, so I signed up this private tour. Panam Nagar was everything I imagined and even more. Sayeed, my private guide, is very knowledgeable of Bengali history and gave me a thorough introduction. He even arranged me to visited a local school and those students were very welcoming and super friendly. The boat ride to Maya Island is another bonus - you get to see how some people live their lives. I highly recommend this tour for the first time Bangladesh visitors.

This was a great day tour from Dhaka. My guide, Nomaan, was very knowledgeable. I had a great time seeing the sights around Sonargaon and experiencing local life. Unfortunately, I went on a Sunday when Panam City was closed to visitors but I was still able to see the buildings from outside and see village life.

This tour let me discover a different side of Bangladesh beyond Dhaka. Meeting the local people living on the island warmed my heart, and seeing their lifestyle was such a memorable experience. 😁 I was also impressed by the artistic beauty of Panam City, where Hindu and Muslim influences are beautifully combined. As a solo female traveler, I was a bit nervous at first, but having a female guide made me feel safe and comfortable. Both the male guide and the driver were very kind, helpful, and respectful. I’m so glad I joined this tour — thank you, Fabiha, Tanvir, and the driver, for such an amazing experience!

Fantastic tour of Panam city, very well organized and guided by good professionals. You are picked up from your hotel or wherever you want and at all times you feel accompanied and safe (although security in Bangladesh is not an issue). You save a lot of time because they know a lot of tricks that travelers ignore.

I had a great time on my tour with Normaan and Shamrat, very experienced and informative guides. I was a little nervous travelling solo as a woman here but they helped me to feel safe and completely at ease. The tour was very interesting and had so many unique cultural experiences and interactions with locals. Visiting the island was such a highlight chatted with locals, visited the local school and met some of the children and played a game of cricket with them. We also had a lovely traditional meal in a small local resturant overlooking the river, it was delicious. For every tour booked to the island Insignia gift a tree in the tourists name to the village here which was also a fabulous experience to be a part of. Normaan is also a professional photographer so he took lots of photographs during the trip which he shared with me afterwards. I would definitely recommend Insignia Tours for your trip to Bangladesh, very professional and reasonable priced, they really looked after me very well and had so many amazing experiences. Thank you for a truly magical day x

This is a great way to get out of the busy city of Dhaka. I had the pleasure to have Abdur Rahman Shamrat as my tour guide and Md Shahin as my driver for the third time so they knew exactly what I was looking for and what kind of information I would be wanting to hear which made the tour really great. Totally recommend this tour for people who are interested in history and culture.
