To note, I booked this trip through the resort we stayed with. I want to first highlight the positive aspects of this tour: our tour guide, Zara, and driver, Ian, were delightful companions for our excursion. Zara was warm, welcoming, and informative, providing a lot of interesting information about the island. Ian safely drove us to our destinations and I never felt unsafe with his driving. The itinerary was great, and it was followed by our hosts. Beyond that, we are pretty disappointed with the overall experience. The lunch at a local restaurant was lovely and delicious - but there were no “awe-inspiring views of the iconic Pitons” as the tour description stated. There were no Pitons in sight. The only time you see the Pitons, in fact, is driving down a mountain where they briefly stop so you can snap some pictures. I gave this trip 3 stars because it wasn’t worth the money. It was a very rushed tour and I think they must believe all tourists just want a photo op. We did not. We wanted to soak in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall, soak in the hot springs, and let the mud dry on us properly at the springs for the best effects. We were rushed to quickly dip into the springs, cover in mud, and then rinse back in the spring. There were zero minutes of rest or relaxation in this experience. Additionally, we were not offered the chance to use the wash house; we were whisked right to lunch. The tour description stated this was a 9-hour outing. We were gone no more than 7. The hike through the rainforest was beautiful and perhaps the best part of the trip because it couldn’t be rushed. The actual waterfall was pretty but not breathtaking. It’s interesting to note that, if you search “Venus Waterfall” online, you’ll not find it but several others come up. This was simply a pretty, small waterfall off a beaten path you could access for free. (Though having a local machete-wielding bushwhacker with us was fun and helpful. Thanks, Branch!) Get you a cab and pay admission to the sulfur springs. You’ll save money and get to have a real experience rather than a couple quickly snapped photos for social media.

Our time with Lulu and Ian was fun from start to finish! Lulu knows EVERYTHING about everything and has the best jokes. You won’t have a single dull moment with her infectious smile and sweet heart. Ian ensured we had safe and efficient travels and helped us be the first tour there—no waiting! We loved the whole experience from the hike, the volcano mud bath, am the restaurant where we enjoyed a plethora of delicious local food, and then back to our resort. Special mention to Branch who helped us navigate the higher than usual river crossings on the hike, making dozens of trips for us and the other couple on our excursion to keep us safe! MVP crew and a truly unique experience!

Had a great day with Lu Lu and James. Picked us up at our Sandals resort and shared the history of the island with us. Great, friendly locals. The waterfall, lunch and the mud bath and sulphur spring soak was a perfect day.

We had an amazing experience on this tour! Lulu was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting facts about the island’s culture and history. She also took some incredible photos for us, which made the memories even more special. James was a great driver and made the journey smooth and comfortable. The waterfall stop was beautiful and refreshing, and the visit to the volcano was both exciting and unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island. Oh yeah and lunch was delicious.

Lulu and Burke were our guides and they were amazing. Lulu provided plenty of jokes and cool info about St. Lucia. First we picked everyone up then went to see the waterfall. Another guide helped us pass through the forest to get there and the waterfall was beautiful. Then we drove and made some stops along the way at shops and had lunch which was all very good. We then made it to the volcano and mud baths which was such a cool experience. This is a great excursion and we are so happy we did this!
