The Half Day cruise to South Sea Island is perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time'. As the island is only 30 minutes from Denarau, you'll have time to do many of the activities on the island and meet the friendly Fijian's ashore.

What To Expect
Mamanuca Islands
Half a day to South Sea Island is an easy 30-minute ferry ride. Perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare, but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time' The island will be yours for the rest of the day until the catamaran arrives around 5.30 pm to bring you back to Port Denarau. Transfers back to select hotels/resorts in Nadi, Denarau, and Wailoaloa area are included if prebooked.
Port Denarau Marina
A complimentary coach transfer is provided for this tour from select hotels/resrts Nadi, Denarau, and the Wailoaloa area. Air-conditioned coaches will pick you from designated pick up points approximately 75 minutes before the departure time. You will then need to check in at the South Sea Cruises check-in counter. Please keep your voucher numbers or e-confirmation available when you are at the counter. Our lovely South Sea Cruises staff with a big Bula smile will then provide your boarding pass for the catamaran. Our modern catamarans have air-conditioned lounges, outside viewing decks and fully licensed bars, meaning you’ll feel on holiday, even en route to your island escape.

Duration: 5 hours: The Cruise departs Port Denarau at 12:15pm and arrives Port Denarau at 6:00pm
Lunch: A BBQ buffet lunch, local beer, house wine, bottled water, and soft drinks are all included while on South Sea Island.
Pick Up Area: Departs Port Denarau at 12:15pm for customers from Denarau, Wailoaloa & Nadi areas ONLY. Returns to Port Denarau at 6pm

4.00The kids club was really just a sandbox with toys. We enjoyed the semi-submersible, the pool, and beach time. The sand is gritty/grainy-not smooth, so we were glad for our water shoes. The bar and food were good and the entertainment during lunch was fun. The boat was PACKED FULL on the last boat home, and I don’t think everyone got a seat.

3.00Transport infrastructure, or lack of, meant long travel time to and from Port Denarau. On our return journey our driver dropped us off on opposite of pickup point - no traffic lights to cross in the dark - very dangerous.

4.00A little disorganized when boarding.but turned our ok nice AC on the boat. Nice wee island ,very well run . Good lunch, and facilities ie toilets, bean bags, snorkles. There's even a deep pool. These types of outing are not really my thing but I liked it, As the island wasn't too busy

1.00Dodgy people selling this tour at much higher price than it actually worth. First i have been told that the pick up bus can pick me up from a nearby hotel (althought the bus actually passed the bus stop in front of my locatiin). Anyway, the bus supposed to stop at the hotel to pick me up. I was not familiar with Nadi and stayed at the other side of the road to be picked up. However the bus came and even didnt stop at the place it was supposed to stop to pick me up. So i ended up getting taxi to Denarau port.the tour refused to accept of miss pick up so i will sue them to get the 15 FJD paid back. Very small island nothing specific to do.did a submarine which was a so so.this tour for sure not worth for the money you pay. Try elsewhere or other islands like Likuri
