Had an amazing tour to Transnistria with Natalia. We could have not asked for a better guide, as she has a vast amount of knowledge about the area and its history and culture. She was able to show us so many great sights and gave us context to understand and form our own opinions. The lunch spot she chose was fantastic and we left full and happy. The tour itself is structured well and isn't too long. There is a good mix of driving and walking. Transnistria itself is not to be missed when visiting Moldova! It is safe to travel there and people were friendly and welcoming. Fully recommend this tour!

We had a really great trip to Transnistria with our guide, Natalia. She was very kind, friendly, and thoughtful, and made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable throughout the tour. You could ask her anything, and she was always happy to share what she knows. The tour gave us a really interesting and eye-opening insight into how Transnistria works as a self-governing region within Moldova. Although it is officially part of Moldova, it has its own government, currency, and border control, and in many ways it feels like a separate country. This is definitely a trip we wouldn’t have wanted to miss, and a big thank you to Natalia for being such a great guide. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone — it was a very memorable and special experience.

Eight hours of pure happiness and great interest in this visit. Nathalia is an unparalleled guide who showed us a lot more than in the program. She answered all our questions and knows Tranistria on her fingertips including to show us a multitude of details including in supermarkets. In addition, it drives in a very gentle and safe way. This excursion should be mandatory in all stays in Moldova. Thank you, Nathalia.

The tour covers all the major highlights in the area, while also not rushing you, so you can really enjoy the experience. To our luck we had a very small group (4 visitors in total), so we could really enjoy the entire experience at a calm pace. Our guide Natalia was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the journey. Provided us with information about not just Transnistria but also about all of Moldova. Overall, highly recommended. The entire place feels calmer and safer than most cities around the world, so anyone can visit without worries.

Wonderful experience and wonderful guide, Natalia, who was trying our comfort at all times, making the trip pleasant and entertaining. He told us a lot of very interesting things, both from Chisinau and Moldova. Natalia conveys passion for her work and that always makes the experience as a tourist better. Transnistria is a really interesting and very nice place to visit. It is quiet, well kept, clean, safe and very pleasant to walk. It's definitely worth it. It is a highly recommended excursion. I would certainly repeat it.

We went on this tour with Natalia as our guide. Natalia is half Pridenstrovian and grew up partially there in her childhood. You could feel her love of the country through out the whole trip. She shared not only facts and history of this lovely country but childhood memories as well making this trip a remarkable experience. We would highly recommend this tour, and if you get Natalia as your guide to take you through this lovely area, you will be truely lucky.

If you get the chance to take this tour, do not hesitate for a second. Our guide Nicolai picked us up in the morning and what followed was one of the most memorable days of our entire trip. Yes, you get the standard Tiraspol tour — the Soviet monuments, the Sheriff superstore, the unrecognised currency, the checkpoints — but what sets this experience apart is the depth of knowledge and genuine passion he brought to every single moment. He covered the history of Transnistria with remarkable nuance: the totalitarian legacy, the mentality shaped by decades of isolation, the painful realities of poverty, and the complex question of what EU integration might mean for people here. But what truly distinguished him as a guide was his approach. He never lectured. He would point things out and let you draw your own conclusions. He didn't tell us "people here are sad" or "people here are unhappy." Instead, at the end of the day he simply said: "Pay attention to how many people smiled at you today." That one quiet observation said more than any lecture ever could. But the highlight came on the way back, when he took us off the beaten path entirely — winding through remote villages where time seems to have stopped. Abandoned houses, crumbling factories, roads that barely deserve the name. And in each village, he pointed out what he called the Soviet-era trilogy: the World War II monument honouring the victims and the victory over Nazism, the House of Culture where ideology was spread and community life was controlled, and the Lenin statue — because no Soviet village, however small, was complete without one. You could see his eyes light up hunting for these traces of a vanished world. It felt like travelling with a dedicated archaeologist of communism. He was attentive to our needs throughout, accommodating every special request without hesitation. The tour ran more than two hours over schedule — not because anything went wrong, but because there was always one more thing worth seeing, one more thought worth provoking. By the end he was clearly exhausted, having given absolutely everything. But he was also, unmistakably, happy. This is not a tour. It is an experience that will stay with you. Highest possible recommendation.
