A very interesting tour of a little known piece of Europe. Not everyone has heard of Transnistria and still less of Pridnestrovia. You can meet friendly people, get back home with some Soviet Union mementos, visit a medieval fortress and eat excellent borscht and pelmeni. A particular mention to our guide, Natalia, professional and informative.

We had an amazing tour of Transnistria with Natalia! She took us to all the most interesting spots and gave us a real feel for the region. The lunch she arranged was yummy and throughout the whole day she made sure we were comfortable and having fun. We learned so much about both Transnistria and Moldova thanks to her knowledge. Highly recommend touring with Natalia!

We had a nice time. Natalia was a very experienced guide and we even had extra stops because she wanted to show us so much of the country. We had a lunch in the restaurant with display of old relics from the soviet past.

When visiting Chisinau the trip to Transnistria is a must. We were very fortunate to have Natalia as our guide for the day. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Moldova and Transnistria, Natalia goes out of her way to make it as personal as possible. Navigating through changing currency and recommending great value souvenirs and restaurants, all with humour and warmth. The sights of Tiraspol and Bender are unique and much more accessible with a guide (such as Natalia) than trying to attempt it yourself. Great value for money, we recommend 100%.

I'm a travel lover. I usually self-arrange all my trips. It's been a very long time since I've used a tour guide, but I'm very happy. She was originally going to be led by another guide named Natalia , but due to her convenience, she was introduced to another guide, Marcel , who booked the tour. As soon as I was introduced, I was able to contact them directly at Watts Up and they gave me a list of places I wanted to go, and I was able to communicate very finely and arrived at the day without anxiety. We had told them beforehand that we wanted to see the exchange shop and supermarket, and if possible, we wanted to stop by mimi Winery on the way home, and we were able to see all the sights while we factored them in. We had the flexibility to go around on the day, no congestion or waiting times (there were lucky times in the Soviet-era cafeteria when there were no customers…!), and the way we explained and went around made me feel very professional. In addition to the sights, they also took me to the famous Canteen and another lovely cafeteria, an antique shop. I thought about taking the bus myself, but I booked the guide because I was very anxious about the lack of internet access, bus travel seemed inconvenient due to the slight distance between Bender and Tiraspol, and most importantly, the embassy won't help me "if something happens". (Transnistria itself is not dangerous at all, but it is very secure, with clean roads and air. Personally, I felt that Chișinău had worse security and environment.) Incidentally, at Canteen, Marcel treated me to some of Canteen's top pies and juices, and I happened to get some plastic coins there (I'm super lucky). The locals happened to use it to pay for it… Otherwise, it was only available in places like antique shops.) So the prize money for the minigame? They made it into a prize and I really enjoyed it. We are so lucky to have such an amazing guide to guide us. All explanations are in English (by the way, I can speak Moldovan, Russian, English and Italian and understand Portuguese. It's too amazing.), it's very easy to understand and really kind. I definitely recommend it.

We had such a great tour! Natalia was amazing - so friendly, warm and incredibly knowledgeable. She made everything feel easy, answered all our questions and was really accommodating throughout. The group was very small, so it almost felt like a private tour which made it even nicer. Honestly, it’s a must when visiting Moldova.

We had a fantastically interesting day in Transnistria. Our guide Natalia, with roots in a village in Transnistria, is very knowledgeable and showed us both monuments and how everyday life is. She gave us a lot of information about both history and the current situation. We had many questions and Natalia was happy to answer them. She took us to an excellent lunch place and taught us about food and drink. It felt very safe to go around with Natalia. A very rewarding day! We recommend everyone to go on this excursion!
