What To Expect

There’s no better way to immerse yourself in Seville’s rich culinary culture than with a hands-on cooking class and a visit to a local food market. Meet your friendly guide at the vibrant Triana Market, where you’ll find colorful produce, succulent meats, fresh cheeses, and other regional delicacies. Work alongside our expert chef and learn to blend local ingredients and spices to create the unique flavors that define Spanish cuisine. All ingredients and materials are provided. During the class, enjoy our homemade sangria. At the end, savor the dishes you’ve prepared, paired with up to two drinks (soft drinks, Spanish wine, or local beer). We can accommodate all dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten-free, no seafood, no pork, etc.)—just let us know in advance if you need any changes to the menu. Once back home, you’ll be able to recreate the experience. We’ll provide written recipes and plenty of tips! Please note we have four kitchens in the Triana area: two inside Triana Food Market, one on Calle Castilla, and one at Plaza de Chapina. Regardless of the kitchen used for your class, the meeting point is always the same: inside Triana Food Market, stalls 75/77.

Informative tour of several stalls in the traditional marketplace. The chef in the cooking portion was terrific - patient, gave clear instructions and made sure it was fun for everyone. No cooking experience needed.

I booked this for myself since my husband was working. It was great! You meet at the market, stalls 75-77. 12 people to a class. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. We toured some of the vendors in the market, then headed back for cooking class! A beautiful homemade soup, side appetizer and then Paella! Met some great friends from all over the US and we all participated in the meal prep. Chef Domenico was gracious and fun! We had sangria, wine, water and other beverages were offered. A highlight of any trip to Seville if you love food and cooking!

Guia was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide at the Mercado de Triana. Chef Leo was a fun instructor who helped us go outside our comfort zone! Definitely would recommend this experience when you visit Sevilla!

We had a blast in this cooking class! The chef Dom was inclusive, instructive, and fun and all of the food we made was delicious! The recipes were authentic and pretty straightforward so we can recreate them at home. The tour and history of Triana Market was also very interesting and provided some great ideas for souvenirs. Would absolutely recommend to any visiting Seville!

A super fun experience to do in a group or even alone, because in that case, you meet other people :) We (a group of friends) did the market tour, which was very interesting, and then we cooked three dishes with two exceptional chefs! In the end, we concluded the appointment by eating together what we had cooked, and everything was delicious. Additionally, the drinks are included! Including sangria and a small dessert at the end. In the end, they email you all the recipes of the dishes cooked, truly everything was excellent. Thank you very much!

  • Fun, Educational, CulturalHistory, and Delicious

This might be the best thing we have done on a trip! 3 1/2 hours of a great time (and a quick return to the Triana market to buy a few things) The market tour was informative and helped to minimize the potential for chaos there ( it gets pretty crowded). The class was a mix of fun, learning by doing, cultural, educational, and delicious. 12 people was a perfect class size. Questions were always welcome and answered. And our lunch was delicious! Now we know about AUTHENTIC sangria and AUTHENTIC paella. They check and accommodate if you have food allergies. 3 courses, desert, sangria, and wine. There were suggestions for restaurants at the end (by neighborhood) - and we saw some of our classmates at one that night!

  • Funny and entertaining cooking class

The brief tour of the market at the beginning was informative. The cooking class was very funny and engaging. We had a good group and laughed a lot. The explanations were clear and understandable. There was something for everyone to do. The envious glances from passing tourists motivated us. Everything was very delicious; we will definitely cook the recipes at home.
