I signed up for 1 week but my teacher was amazing so I stayed for a month. I would highly recommend this school. I hope to return again next year.

My experience at Lago Azul Language School in San Juan del Sur was absolutely fantastic! I participated in the homestay program for 4.5 months, arriving with minimal Spanish and leaving able to have full conversations. My teacher, Margarita, was exceptional, making grammar clear and accessible. I stayed with Marta and her family in my own separate beautiful apartment overlooking the bay. Since Marta and her family didn't speak English everything was in Spanish. It was awesome! Each day started with a mile swim in the bay, followed by breakfast with Marta and then a totally immersive Spanish practice. The school's beachfront location added to the charm, with free coffee and engaging lessons. Victor and Jenny ran the program very well, creating a fun and supportive learning environment. San Juan Del Sur, with its stunning views, vibrant culture, and friendly locals, made the experience unforgettable. The combination of effective language instruction, cultural immersion, and beautiful surroundings made this an ideal place to learn Spanish. I highly recommend Lago Azul for a comprehensive Spanish immersion experience! I'm definitely going back! Can't wait!

This school is nothing short of exceptional! Classes directly on the beach with 1:1 teachers. Very professional and adapted to all levels The staff is super friendly and great teachers Homestay was also a great success. The family I stayed with did not speak a word of English. They were very very hospitable. And a great cook ! I highly recommend San Juan del Sur, Lago Azul spanish school and homestay Special thanks to Cony, the best teacher

Amazing! This school exceeded my expectations! Every bit of it is amazing, the teachers, the home stay, the activities, environment and food!:) Staying with the local host family is so cool because you really immerse yourself in the culture, the local food and language! You also get to do school beachfront! Definitely recommend this place, 10/10 amazing place 😊

I would highly recommend Lazo Azul Spanish School! I spent a week here with Cony and my Spanish greatly improved. The classes were both informative and fun, with conversation mixed in with grammar and Scrabble games. The breezy location on the beach didn't hurt either! I also participated in a homestay with Marta and her family. I had a very clean, spacious room with a full bathroom. They also prepared three meals each day with delicious food! At each meal, we spoke Spanish, which also helped my Spanish quickly improve. Overall, I'd highly recommend Lago Azul Spanish School!
