We are going to guide you on how a coffee cupping is made, starting with a short explanation of the principal points you need to understand, then a sensory introduction to coffee with Le Nez du Cafe Scent and Aroma Kit.
You are going to taste different varieties of arabica coffee and the different processes coffee is produce.
The main goal of this experience is that you can appreciate the quality of Costarican speciality coffee and you can understand which one you like better.

What To Expect
So you like coffee? This experience is for you! In this 2 hour degustation session, you will be tasting 6 of the best coffees Costa Rica has to offer, carefully selected from from all over the country and using different processes, this to give you an all-round costa rican coffee experience. Together we’ll go thru the whole process from a short technical explanation about coffee and it’s production, to what makes “the golden grain” such a delectable drink. When you finish you’ll know how to identify what makes a good coffee and help you find the right coffee for you. Our mission is that after this experience you can be on your way to become a coffee connoisseur and will understand why Costa Rican specialty coffee is amongst the best in the world. Are you ready? All we ask is you come with a fresh attitude and eager to enjoy a once in a lifetime Costa Rican coffee experience. We recommend you avoid eating fish and spicy food before coming to this event. Please avoid wearing perfume, body splash or intense smelling creams.

5.00This was a fantastic experience. My guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The time just flew by! I learned so much about the history, roasting, and tasting coffee. Whether you are a novice or an afficionado, this is a worthwhile experience. I will take much of this back to my family members in other countries. I will come back for a refresher the next time I am in Costa Rica.

5.00Unforgettable experience, an afternoon in the daily life with Juan David, his cousin Laura and his whole family, walking around the mountains surrounded by coffee plants sown by themselves at a pulse, we also find handsome (those who cry like song), cedar, bore, sour cane for the prostate say, planting of cassava, ginger, pineapple, orange, Mandarin lemon, avocado and possibly as many plants and plants. The whole tour with explanation of the history of coffee from Africa and the observation of the crops (make us evaluation and difficult to remember data, finally many laughs and we continue), the care and process of coffee: washing, natural, honey and anaerobic. (Recommendation comfortable clothes, wear rubber boots to enter the entire estate, there is own cloud as our hostess would say, downpour for sure) Meanwhile, we are offered a delicious lunch elaborated on the wood fire, an exquisite sancocho cafetero and for the end the tasting of Pandora coffee. So we go one by one through each step and more coffee until we see the final packing process, we use hats and disinfection shoes for admission. We finish the experience with more coffee tasting... teary eyes of seeing so much joy and drunkenness that they impress on this process so hard to grow coffee, that comes to our hands without knowing the hard work that has been to get a healthy bean to roast and grind, all the above to reach our cup of coffee morning without noticing anything only the purchase in the supermarket or neighborhood store, and already. Thanks Juan David and family, young Colombian entrepreneurs and coffee farmers, what a wonderful job of the whole family!!!

5.00I attended this session and it surpassed my expectations. Antonio's passion for coffee was evident from the beginning, and it was contagious. His extensive knowledge about coffee sparked my interest to learn more about it What I liked most was how he explained everything in a really clear and interesting way. Plus, he made the session really fun! Overall, I left the class feeling excited and knowing a lot more about coffee. I definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn more about coffee. Huge thanks to Antonio for making it such a great experience!

Our guide also helped us to connect to WIFI to book an Uber back, took us to a local store to get something that we needed, gave recommendations, etc. I would highly recommend this experience to others!
