We reserved a six-hour tour of Wellington with Suzee of uTours. She fulfilled all of our requests regarding sightseeing destinations. Her knowledge of Wellington is extensive. The vehicle provided was comfortable. We really enjoyed our experience.

We had a fantastic one day tour. Suzee was an excellent host who made us feel welcome and shared her extensive local knowledge with us. In one day, we visited all the sights of Wellington and surrounds, the beaches of Kapiti coast and some beautiful countryside. We ate delicious local food at some really fun cafes. Suzee designed the tour to suit us and it was perfect.

We had a fantastic experience. Suzee and Jo at uTours are fabulous. They took the time to find out what our interests were (including a WhatsApp call weeks ahead of our arrival). They then developed the day around that. Jo picked us up at the cruise terminal and we were off. Her vehicle was comfortable, and she took care the entire day to ensure that we were happy. She has a wonderful knowledge of local history from the city center out to the beautiful forests. We stopped at some of her favorite local establishments for lunch and treats. This was not your run of the mill “tour around town”; more like a day with friends showing you their hometown and why they love to show it off. We highly recommend reaching out to them if you are in Wellington and are looking to have an amazing experience.

I highly recommend uTours Wellington for a highly personalized tour with so much attention to detail along with fabulous ideas and flexibility to make clients happy. I took a small group of my clients on a shore excursion with both Suzer and Jo. They picked us up at cruise terminal and made sure we had everything we needed to make the day successful (comfortable, clean vehicles, drinks, snacks and even cute shopping bags for all of our treasures!) uTours Wellington customized the tour to what we wanted to do and even took us to their local grocery store to buy wine and chocolate (at our request). They are friendly, well organized and so very knowledgeable about their beautiful city. I would give them a million stars if I could! Thank you both for making out outing such a huge success! What a wonderful day! We left the itinerary to Jo as we had little knowledge of Wellington and she more than delivered. Not only did we see many sights, but Jo had a wealth of knowledge on al sorts of information about New Zealand in general. Her vehicle was really comfortable and we had some wonderful NZ snacks.Lu ch was fantastic and off the beaten track. I'm not going to reveal where it was, if you are lucky she may take you there too. This was one of our favorite excursions by far!

Suzee isn't just an incredible docent; she has truly become a wonderful friend after the memorable day trip we shared. Long before our adventure, Suzee reached out with a thoughtful email introducing herself and inquiring about our interests and preferences. When the day finally arrived, she met us at the port near our cruise ship and guided us through Wellington, sharing the city from her unique perspective. We had an outstanding day together. Suzee took us to breathtaking viewing points, introduced us to the diverse neighborhoods, regaled us with the rich history of Wellington, and brought us to must-see landmarks, including the original Waitangi Treaty. Our time together was not only fascinating but also filled with joy, delicious food, vibrant culture, stunning sights, and meaningful conversations. Thank you, Suzee, for such an enjoyable experience and for the amazing photos! We will cherish the memories we created together. We hope our paths cross again someday, somewhere!

From booking to the actual day; communication and arrangements were stress free. Our needs were the focus. Jo was amazing; picked us up in a clean vehicle complete with drinks and snacks. Before we headed off, she asked about what type of tour we were after. We had mentioned things to see; she then took us around all the places a big tour bus can’t get to. Excellent company, so knowledgeable with a touch of humour. Back in port with time to spare.. soon stress at all!! Highly recommend

Fantastic time touring Wellington with Suzee. We laughed and talked the whole day while Suzee effortlessly showed us all the great sites and foodie places. Last-minute changes and inclusions we no problem. Best of all she timed everything to avoid any large tour buses or crowds. She has an incredible knowledge of both current events and the history of New Zealand. Had a fabulous time – felt like being a local with a best friend showing us around. Highly recommend.

We had a FANTASTIC day with Jo at the helm!! We didn’t know anything about Wellington and little about New Zealand but Jo added to our knowledge base considerably. UTours and Jo were focused on us…. From pre-tour communications to “on the fly” desires, Jo constantly was checking with us on what we wanted to see and do, what we could bypass and what questions we had. She was a font of knowledge and we LOVED it. We went all over Wellington…. Along the coasts, up to the Wind Turbine, through the town, to WETA Cave, round trip on the Cable Car, seeing the Government buildings and one of my favorite stops was the Old St Paul’s Church. And did I mention lunch in Cuba? Neat area and Fidel’s had great food. I’m glad we got UTours to show us around. Now I’m planning my next trip to the wine country north of Wellington…. And guess who will be leading us!!! Thanks Jo for a GLORIOUS day!!
