What To Expect
Nemo
The Wildwest Town of Nemo, South Dakota is like no other. Originally built as a sawmill town by the Hearst Family, Nemo served the largest Gold Mine in the Western Hemisphere, the Homestead Mine. Many original buildings exist today, keeping the charm intact. We'll visit the Mercantile, Restaurant, School and Church of Nemo.
Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway
This winding road takes us through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Northern Black Hills. Along the way we'll stop and have a picnic lunch.

5.00This tour was phenomenal! Daniel took us to Devils Tower, Spearfish Canyon and other sites. He is so knowledgeable. He also brought a Native American as he knew our interest in native culture. This added element was so wonderful. We enjoyed this experience beyond all our expectations. Daniel was attentive to our needs and was very accommodating. I don’t have enough superlatives to describe the great experience we had on this tour!

5.00Our tour was exceptional - Kelli was our tour guide and very knowledgeable regarding the history, routes, waterfalls - we could not have asked for a more informed and devoted person to spend the day with us. She accompanied us around the Tower Trail around Devils Tower, old mining towns, Aladdin and the unique old general store, Spearfish creek, the history of the Lead gold mine and of course a drive through Deadwood, not to mention some peaceful nature walks. Thank Kelli, this was one trip on our bucket list, and it was an amazing experience!!

5.00When planning my bucket list trip to see Mount Rushmore, I had little knowledge of South Dakota. We chose My XO Adventures to guide us through a state we knew little about. The planning, communication, and customer service were top notch. After speaking with Daniel and Amiee and hearing about the choices of tours offered, we decided to take the Black Hills Parks & Monuments Tour Overview, Magnificent Badlands Sunset and Night Sky Tour, and Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, Northern Black Hills, and Devils Tower Tour. There are truly no words to describe what we experienced during our 3 tours. Mount Rushmore was great, but the other sights were truly awe inspiring. Had My XO Adventures not described and given us their recommendations for these tours, we would have missed some the most amazing sights in South Dakota. Daniel's knowledge of these sights as well as his understanding of the Native American Tribes gave us a greater appreciation for everything we saw. We were totally immersed in the history and surroundings of everything we were taken to see. We could have done our own touring, but we would NEVER have seen the sights that we were shown or understood the significance of those sights. We weren't shown only the touristy sights, but those things that Daniel felt everyone should have an opportunity to experience. Those special spots had the greatest impact on us. Daniel truly loves what he does, and we had no doubts about that throughout our tours. His kindness, patience, and true love of the land was part of what made our tours something we will not soon forget.

5.00We had an excellent private tour with Daniel our driver/tour guide and Dave. His depth of knowledge regarding wild life, Spearfish canyon, the falls, and Bear Lodge (Devil’s Tower) coupled with rustic unique stops made our trip even more enjoyable. We are leaving the Black Hills with a greater appreciation of the beauty of the area, the Lakota culture, and leadership. Thank you for a great tour and for the wonderful pictures and memories.

5.00Highly recommend this tour and XO Adventures. Our group was 8 older ladies. The tour guides were very patient, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our day safe and fun. Devil's Tower is amazing and the hike around the Tower is a great outing with absolutely beautiful views.
