Kapaleeshwarar Temple – Mylapore Your tour begins with a visit to the famous Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore. This 7th-century temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its tall and colorful gopuram (tower) covered with beautiful carvings. Feel the spiritual atmosphere as you explore the temple complex and watch devotees in prayer.

4.00Overall a good half day out. Driver was prompt and took us around well. Guide was extremely knowledgable both on the journey pointing out places of interest and at the visit sites. Some sites were great, particularly the temple and the market we were taking to, but wouldn’t recommend the fish market or the fort to include.

5.00I toured with Chuttibaaz in late October. I made an error in my booking, booking my tour for the wrong day. Despite the error being mine, Chuttibaaz scrambled to make my tour happen anyway. We started late (again, MY FAULT) but we toured all the places I wanted to see. My guide Mr. Panner, was helpful, informative and flexible. I had a great time.
