Excellent winter tour of Trogir and Split with Marko

5.00I visited Split and Trogir last July. Beautiful places, but it was too hot, too crowded, too much of everything. So I decided to come back in February to check out the other side of the same coin. Yes, it was a bit rainy, then sunny, then rainy again, but the temperature was actually quite pleasant. And with our guide Marko, the visit to Trogir and Split was simply great! We learned a lot about the past and present life of these cities and Croatia in general. All of it spiced up with humour and laughter, without stress. Marko also gave us very useful restaurant suggestions which was very much appreciated considering that many of them are closed at this time of year. Excellent tour and highly recommended guide, loved it!

5.00Definitely the best tour on our trip through Croatia. Marko welcomed us in an air conditioned car and took us to Trogir which is an island and a city, where after the guided tour we had free time for shopping and ice cream (loved the Dovanni place). In Split we explored the cellars and saw where Game of Thrones was filmed. Our guide grew up in Split, knew many people, and recommended an excellent restaurant. Greetings to Split and we look forward to coming again!

5.00Trogir is a beautiful town full of narrow streets hiding charming little shops and ice cream stands, all steeped in rich history. Our guide, Marko, made sure not to miss a single opportunity to share stories about how people used to live and what they ate—always in a humorous and engaging way. He also helped us organize a traditional Dalmatian lunch, which made the experience even more special. Despite the heat, the strong AC in the car made everything comfortable. Thank you, Marko, for a wonderful day!
