A beautiful day at St Andrew’s! Our guide, Ed, was terrific, providing historical background about the places we visited and had a good sense of humor. Lunch at old Tom Morris’ with a great view of The Old Course.

Had a lovely tour to St Andrews for the day with a stop along the way at a lovely little fishing town and stop at palace with lovely surrounding garden on way home. Wonderful friendly knowledgeable guide. Thought about driving myself but this was much, much more relaxing and enjoyable.

We took a private day tour of St. Andrew’s with Ed. It was an amazing tour and Ed was so knowledgeable and professional. He was very communicative leading up to the trip and even had suggestions for us to make lunch reservations prior to our arrival. This was very important, even though we didn’t realize this ahead of time, because it was a very busy day at the Old Course. We felt like we had known Ed almost immediately. He was laughing with us and made us feel very comfortable. Although we traveled quite a distance during the trip, it seemed to go so quickly because we were really enjoying the facts and little quizzes that Ed engaged us in. Ed also gave suggestions for the remainder of our stay which was very helpful. While we have no plans as of yet to return to Scotland we would love to return and when we do, we will definitely be touring with Ed again!

We were not 100% sure we would be excited about this journey but felt like we needed to see it since we were in Scotland. Much to our surprise, we loved it. The course is simply beautiful! Our driver, Edmonton, was excellent as well. He prompted us to get a reservation at the Tom Morris restaurant and was very pleasant to spend time with.
