Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve
The Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve is a living museum in St. Croix. Learn major period of human habitation in the Virgin Islands, several South American Indian cultures and the 1493 encounter with Columbus.
The Sion Farm Distillery is located in the former home of St. Croix’s well-loved Island Dairies Company. You will see, hear, smell and taste your way into an experience like no other. Your tour begins as you enter the sleek, newly renovated space that serves as the bar and tasting room. You’ll enjoy a view through the glass wall to the newly installed, state of the art artisanal copper still. And watch as the master distiller and his team perform the science and art of hand-crafted Island Vodka. You'll hear the origin story of how we came to make breadfruit vodka that delivers a luscious mouth feel and the flavor notes of citrus, melon and green banana. You'll remember the history and romance of the story known as the "Mutiny on the Bounty" and appreciate the inspiration behind the MUTINY name. And you'll learn some fun facts about Sion Farm Distillery and MUTINY Island Vodka from our talented mixologists.

1.00We booked this tour with the option of being picked up in Fredrikstead where our ship was docked. When the driver didn’t show up on time, we called him, only to find out he wouldn’t take us to the meeting point of the tour unless he had more passengers. By this time we knew we would be late for the tour, so made calls to the tour operator as well as to Viator customer service. SO, we missed the tour, to our great disappointment; but we were refunded our money.

4.00We wanted to take the tour on our 1st full day on the island and Owen was great on taking us to all the spots we wanted to see and more. I would strongly suggest ignoring the itinerary portion of the tour and working with your guide on the best tour for you as this is an expensive tour. For two people after the initial expense of the tour, feeding the pig ( we didn’t do it) which we wanted no part of but felt obligated by the rudeness of the restaurant to order something (pancakes) beyond the fruit punch we were going to order, the vodka distillery (really worth doing) the botanical garden (great) and the tip that Owen absolutely deserved, the day was approaching $400 for us. Loved the tour but that is a very big number for a tour of the island for 2 people.

5.00St Croix was amazing, Highly recommend the Divi Carina Bay Resort All Inclusive....Staff was amazing, Resort was 4 Star & Food was excellent, We even won some money at the Casino next too the resort. You will not go wrong staying there & enjoying the Pool, Beach, Food & All Inclusive alcohol & activities they have available....

3.00Beautiful beaches very relaxing, Transportation very expensive, food is expensive, from one to another restaurant prices varies, not too much choices, by 9 pm the restaurants are closed, certain areas are sketchy to walk alone, you have to be very careful, felt unsafe. But we were in gated community that made our stay much safer.

3.00We’d hoped the experience would have been better. The effects of the covid epidemic are still very visible. Very poor country with lots of signs of poverty. They only receive 1 cruise ship per week..not enough to help rebuild the economy. Very few sign of US Government help. The only new vehicle were US Government vehicles. Friendly locals. No desire to return.

5.00The entire tour was a tremendously wonderful experience! Mr Joseph was very informative, polite, and made the tour well worth every minute. I highly recommend anyone that chooses to take the tour to look up Mr Ames Joseph to be your tour guide. He made sure my wife and I saw every inch of the island and gave great information on each part!
