Our first stop is at the beautiful Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site, the oldest in the province and sits on the most easterly point of North America.
We’ll then take you back to downtown St. John’s for a narrated driving tour of the city, passing by multiple points of interest including Jellybean Row, George Street, and taking you through nearby Quidi Vidi Village.
Our next tour stop will be Signal Hill National Historic Site, significant for its historic role as the location of the final battle of the Seven Years’ War in North America. While you are here, you will have the opportunity to explore the famous Cabot Tower.
Next, you will be taken to Newfoundland’s award-winning boat tour, Iceberg Quest. You will absolutely love this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Cape Spear, Cabot Tower and Fort Amherst from the sea as you see the world’s largest concentration of humpback whales, along with 12,000 year old icebergs!

There was no experience. It was cancelled the day before. You need to check these things before requesting reviews.

I had an awesome time on the St. John’s Small Group Tour with the Iceberg Quest Boat Cruise. The tour was really well organized, and the highlight for me was definitely our guide. They made the whole experience feel super relaxed and fun, while also sharing so many cool facts and stories about the area. It felt like we were hanging out with a local who really knows their stuff, which made the tour that much more enjoyable. The Iceberg Quest Boat Cruise was incredible—getting out on the water and seeing those huge icebergs up close was unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour if you're in St. John’s, and if you’re lucky enough to have the same guide, you’re in for a treat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our driver and guide were full of information. We went to some beautiful places and got some great photos. The boat portion of our trip was good too.

My husband and I did this tour on August 19th. Unfortunately we would not recommend it given what you get for the cost and alternatives available in the city. The description is misleading. It indicates that the tour is 6 hours - if you are adding the boat component the tour time is 4 hours (2 hours in the van plus boat time is approx 2 hours), if you are not doing the boat the tour time is approx 3 hours. If you are doing the boat tour, you miss Quidi Vidi Village and the drive around the downtown area as you are dropped off two hours in at the boat pick up spot. There also is no pick up after the boat tour (not communicated until the end of the van tour). All of this wouldn’t be a problem if it was indicated in the description but it’s not - the description indicates drop off anywhere in downtown St John’s. The description indicates there is opportunity to explore Cabot Tower, however the tour starts here and Cabot Tower opens at 10am - you will probably be gone by 9:45am. It also indicates a tour of Signal Hill - that is not the case as we were just dropped off there to do our own thing. Essentially $120 each to be driven to two stops (Signal Hill and Cape Spear) and a drop off at the boat tour. The driver was nice enough but you can get same/better service with the hop on hop off bus. The hop on hop off tour bus was $50 each, available 2 days and takes you to all the same spots (and more). Their drivers are just as, if not more, knowledgeable and well worth the money. Boat tour was great - just book directly with Iceberg Tours
