St. Kitts Full Island Excursion

This tour is designed to enables our guests to view and have a detailed history of the island of st.kitts. It highlights our rich European and African history in narration with your local guide. We travel the entirety of the island traveling through our historical city of, Basseterre and into the western side of the island. The tour makes 4 stops. Firstly, the Romney manor and Caribelle batik shops, The Brimstonehill fortress, Black rocks then to Timothy hill on the southeast end of the island. During this time you’ll be given relevant information on the areas visited and. We not just give history but also gives information on our culture, our political system and our beliefs and traditions. At the conclusion of this tour you will be taken to your desired location. This tour i am sure you’ll find very interesting as your guide can be humorous at times. We will love to have you touring with us.

What To Expect
Timothy Hill
Timothy hill overlook is located on the southeast side of the city, Basseterre. A beautiful scenic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean seas can be seen with a view of our sister island, the birthplace of Alexandra Hamilton, Nevis.
Black Rocks
Black rocks is where remnants of our volcanic eruption which accrued centuries ago can be seen. Persons can have a browse of the ares for photos and shopping with our local vendors for crafts and other items.

Great Full-Day Private Tour Around St. Kitts with Mr. Tatem

5.00We had a lovely full day exploring St. Kitts with Mr. Tatem. He was a safe, steady driver who took his time so we could properly enjoy everything. We saw the colorful streets of Basseterre, the historic Old Road Rum Distillery (rum since 1681 — the oldest in the Caribbean!), the stunning gardens and vibrant Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor, Brimstone Fortress, dramatic Black Rocks with crashing waves, and panoramic views from Timothy Hill. We also learned about the island’s medical and veterinary schools. Mr. Tatem shared great local history and personal stories (he’s a lifelong islander with a wife and two grown sons). It was a relaxed, authentic day that felt very personal. Perfect for families or anyone wanting to see the real St. Kitts. Thank you, Mr. Tatem! 🇰🇳

5.00Tatem was everything we hoped for. He texted us and told us exactly where to meet him when got off the ship. My wife needs a walker and Tatem was always right there to help her He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the island and its history but shares it in such a story telling manner We were never rushed and he always made sure their were sufficient pit stops We had asked friends on the ship to with us and they were so glad we deed. We had done a cruise tour the day before and there is just no comparison from a cost standpoint or informative tour Get on a buss with 40 new friends or have the 4 of us get in Tatems lovely new AC van. Can’t say enough nice things about Tatem I should also add that StKitts was our favorite island Don’t miss the opportunity to have this excursion with the delightful Tatem!!

Mr. Tatem's communication before and during our trip was excellent. Mr. Tatem also ensured that everything, from pick-ups to tours, went smoothly and stress-free. Mr. Tatem is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the history and culture of St. Kitts. He showed us the must-see sites, enriching the experience with interesting facts and stories. He was also fantastic with our son, sharing fun and engaging tidbits about the island. In addition to showing us around St. Kitts, Mr. Tatem handled our airport/hotel transfers seamlessly. Always meeting us with a big smile, he made every interaction warm and welcoming. We also took a tour to Nevis, which Mr. Tatem arranged for us. On Nevis, we were greeted by Mr. Tatem's associate, Chip, who took us on a tour around the island. He was great as well! Overall, Tatem’s Taxi and Tours helped to make our trip memorable. 5.00This really was an excellent tour with Tatem who is a superb driver and guide. It was so interesting seeing the various different spots and having someone so knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic about the island leading us. 5.00We were met on time by the owner and introduced to his driver (wonderful lady driving her SUV with a pink lace pattern on the windshield). We then headed off with her for a delightful drive that stopped anywhere we wanted to get photos & video. Lots of detailed descriptions of the sights and history. Highly recommend this vendor.
