Island short tour seeks to give persons who do not want the long drive to Soufriere to still experience some of St. Lucia's charm and beauty with a small group or as a private tour.

Enjoy the amazing scenery as we drive the west coast road with stops at Morne Fortune (where the last battle was fought between the French and the British), Marigot Bay (a heaven for yachters), banana plantations, and the village of Anse La Raye (to experience the experience of village lifestyle).

Time may also permit "rhythm of rum tour" which is a tour of our rum distillery.

Anse La Raye

Its a chance to witness first hand the day-to-day running of typical village in St. Lucia. Fishing, mending of fishermen's nets, artwork, and of course the ever welcoming folks. This is local livelihood at its best.

Marigot Bay is a very popular stop as it offers picturesque views of the bay which, apart from its natural beauty offers protection during severe weather and is a well known filming location. The stop allows one to grab a few photos and stretch off before heading back.

Javan was amazing! His attention to detail, knowledge, of St. Lucia, outstanding personality, and the fact that at each point of interest, he actually got out of the car, shared the information and took pictures of us was beyond an expectations. His car was spotless. He had water, and the conversation was fun, lively, and entertaining. I would definitely recommend him! One of the best tours I have ever taken!

Just what we expected and more! Javan offered us multiple experiences and let us choose are excursion path. He had extra time and extended our time allowing us to visit more sites. Javan had a great personality, was knowledgeable and was a joy to ride with.

Excellent tour by knowledgeable local. Our driver Wilkie grew up in the area with his family in the banana business. No language issues, very well spoken. Interesting itinerary giving a good overview without dragging things out. Very comfortable vehicle in excellent shape. Highly recommended.

Driver was very friendly to begin with but did spend time on his mobile. We asked to skip the rum distillary as we had visited one before and was there an alternative. We were back in Castries in just over an hour.

Wilky was very informative and great fun. We learned about the island and got to stop and see a banana grove. We really enjoyed stopping at the scenic areas and The St Lucia Rum Distillery. You could taste every type of rum they make. We only tried a few😀 I was concerned because I had heard the roads were awful and curvy. I get car sic easily and Wilky was such a good driver that I felt great the whole time. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Wilky gave us a very nice tour in St. Lucia. We took beautiful pictures of our ship in port from Morne Fortune, viewed Marigot Bay where Dr Dolittle with Rex Harrison was filmed, and toured a banana plantation. Wilky was a great guide and allowed us plenty of time for pictures. After the tour, we spent a nice afternoon at Vigie Beach, just a $5 taxi ride from the port.

While the group was small (my friend and one other couple), the places visited were not memorable. In fact, the most memorable time spent was with the aforementioned couple from Pennsylvania. The driver answered questions about the island when asked, but had little to say most times. The places we visited were mostly places where we could spend our tourist dollars. This was not the best excursion that we booked through Viator.

Wilky will provide a tour that makes you long to stay. He is very passionate about the li e he has for his country and displayed it in his stories, his life, and sharing the country's rich history. I booked the tour as an introduction to St. Lucia. We met Wilky at the dedignated pick up spot by the cruise ship port. He took us to see some nice spots and photo opps not too far from Port Castries. The roads on the way up were mostly hairpin, but he knew them well. He also took us to a banana plantation, where they were harvesting. That was great. He told us a lot about the island, but also about family life. It was a great experience. We really enjoyed it.
