  Our visit began with a video talking about the history of rum and the distillery and then we toured the plant and learned a lot more about making rum. The last thing was a visit to the tasting room...which was like no tasting room I've ever encountered! There were two counters, each about 30 feet long, with every rum produced here. we could taste anything and as much as we wanted. Wow! I highly recommend a visit here if you like rum or you just want to learn more about it.

  Great trip that we’d recommend. Pre-trip booking and confirming pick-up was easy and reliable. Car arrived on schedule and got us there in good time. We had a solo tour (as a couple) which was great and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of time for photos and questions before we got to the rum tasting which was fantastic. Huge choice across the St Lucia Dostillery range, with free pour available on all rums. We were able to sample them as required, to allow us to settle on what we would buy. And the retail staff were friendly and helpful too. Our Barefoot holidays guide then stopped at the central Castries market with us so we could buy a few bits there. If you like rum then the Distillery tour is a must and Barefoot arrange the trip really well. Thanks guys!

  A pretty ok tour for those who like trying local rums with a few caveats. Tour did not show the sugar cane crushing process and the tasting room lacked guidance and left questions up to customers rather than having a nice sit down experience with someone walking you through the background on each rum etc. if you have been to Barbados, the rum tours there were much more informative

  We have just returned to our hotel having had a thoroughly enjoyable experience courtesy of our driver Vincent from barefoot tours. An ex Saint Lucian fireman who now works part time as a tour guide, provided us with outstanding local knowledge and a true credit to barefoot and the island! We were picked up bang on time (not Caribbean time) and Vincent provided us with clear guidance of what to do expect and what we would see as we traversed the island. The Saint Lucian Distillery tour is informative and the sampling was next level! Having completed previous rum experiences on other islands this was a step up, both in terms of education and production levels! I would thoroughly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to have Vincent as your driver, you will not be disappointed!

  My husband and I had Elijah for our tour to the Rum Distillery during our honeymoon trip in St. Lucia. Elijah was a wonderful driver, he was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and attentive during our entire round trip experience from the north to the south of the island. My husband and I would absolutely recommend Elijah to anyone who is looking to do an any tour while on the island.

  We went on the St Lucia rum tour and had a great experience. What we did not realise at the time of booking that it was a part private tour. That being us being picked up in an executive car and chauffeured to the rum distillery where we joined a small group and shown the process of distilling rum which we found interesting and the chance to sample 12/14 different types of rum from creamy rum based liqueurs to 15 year old matured rum and also the chance to buy . After our tour Nasser our driver for the tour took us to Castries market and agreed a time that he would return and take us back to our hotel We really did enjoy the rum tour and special thanks to Nasser a very friendly knowledgeable guide. He gave us an insight of St Lucia as well as being a very good driver. We would do this tour again without hesitation. A little tip buy rum at the shop onsite it is considerably cheaper than the supermarkets and liquor stores

  We had a great time! The rum tour at the distillery is very well organized and you’re able to sample almost everything they produce. We didn’t go to the Casteries Market but I think that’s because our hotel is very near the distillery so it didn’t make sense. All in all it was great, the guide and driver were lovely! Would do it again

  Driver was amazing and the tour was great! Highly recommend it. Was not what we expected at all. Pretty cool it was unlimited tasting.
