We had a wonderful experience diving with Georgina. She is funny, knowledgeable and serious about being safe. We appreciated that combination. If was fun to share her excitement when she saw sharks and turtles. It is hard to convey emotions underwater, but Georgina manages to do just that. What a great morning!

  • Bad pickup instructions. Good dive!

Your website told us to go to the Marina which cost us a $20 taxi ride. It turns out we could have been picked up near our cruise ship. How frustrating. The dive itself was great!

Have dived with them several times before, and will probably do so again. Sint Maarten has some pretty nice dive sites where one can see sharks, turtles and plenty of other sea life. I find Aqua Mania staff always friendly and professional, and their gear is reliable.

  • Absolutely the best dive operator on the island!

Have previously dived with Aqua Mania and their predecessor at Simpson Bay resort on three other trips to SXM. I would give them 10 stars but Trip Advisor only allows me to give them five. They are very convenient to anyone staying in Simpson Bay and also have availability from Divi. This latest trip did not disappoint over four days of diving. Where can I start? Our dive leader all week, Georgina, is absolutely the best dive leader I have been out with anywhere in the world. I am a certified DM myself, with over 1000 dives and really appreciated her skill, organization, professionalism, and attention to safety. All this while handling all the tanks and gear with such a big smile. Georgina is a real pro adept with experienced divers as well as those less experienced. She is worth three or four times whatever they are paying her. She makes sure everyone stays safe and has a fantastic dive. We came in a day after TS Jerry went through and still, the vis was not bad. All great dive sites, just a short boat ride from shore. Besides being so convenient, the boat leaves right from the Simpson Bay resort and if you are diving multiple days, they allow you to store your gear to dry overnight which is a real convenience. The next day, it is hanging up by the dock ready to set up with your tank. The boat is a nice excursion boat that can carry 10 divers along with captain and dive leaders. Perfect size and never too crowded. Had three different captains all week and all fantastic. Captain Swanee (sorry of I misspelled) twice and top man. Lots of stingrays, barracuda, a few turtles and friendly sharks that will swim right up beside you, curious about what kind of big "fish" you are:). Georgina has a sharp eye and was always pointing out interesting marine life for everyone. Although I brought my own gear, I tend to take note of the rental gear having seen some real dodgy stuff in other locations. Aqua Mania has top notch gear so if you are not particular about your own stuff and don't want top bring it along, rest assured you will get quality rental gear. So, I could go on and on. If you are visiting SXM and plan to dive, Aqua Mania are the team you want to go out with. Don't even think of going anywhere else.

This was well organized and efficient. We are both relatively new to diving and Georgia (sp?) took the time to explain things too us and give us more advice and instruction between dives to make the second dive even more enjoyable. We did a ship wreck in which we saw many fish and a couple of sharks. Next a reef dive we saw a lot of fish, a large turtle a better view of a reef shark and a beautiful spotted eagle ray. It must have had a 4' - 5' wing span it was majestic. I would do this again, and may before we leave the island. Highly recommend.

Tried to book reservations for my upcoming visit to St. Martin. Web page states ages 15-75. Further inquiry revealed it REALLY means 16 and up to 75. They stated that "Probably" I could participate and I should book reservations as long as I was fit and certified. I AM both and responded It's my life I am putting at risk so why would I jeopardize it? Smells like Age discrimination so they Lose my business....not probably but definitely
