The stained glass workshop is an amazing way to start your own journey into the addictive world of stained glass. My workshop is the only one in Rhodes that offers this unique experience. Classes take place in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere, in my studio using a colorful selection of glass. The course is designed to give people enough time to work at their own pace and be creative while learning all the practical skills needed to make a suncatcher.

This workshop is not suitable if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Please note, we are usually standing whilst making and creating, at a workbench with stools to sit on in-between.

What To Expect

You will learn the basic skills used in the Tiffany method. There is a limit of 2 people per class, which enables individual tuition, and each student will take home something unique that they have created that day. The steps we will follow are: 1. Familiarisation of tools. We will learn the tools and their use in order to use them properly in the manufacture of stained glass. 10' 2. Cutting glass and familiarisation of different angles and styles of cutting with clear glass, so that we can practice enough times to be able to use the opals in the next steps. 30' 3. Pattern selection. There are a variety of patterns, suitable for beginners, up to 10 pieces each, so that the student can make it and feel the satisfaction of creativity. 25' 4. Glass selection. Time to choose from a variety of colored opals what to use. 25' 5. Opal cutting with the design pieces - each design piece must be cut in the opal we have chosen. 60' 6. Grinding cut glass edges. The moment we correct and smooth the sides of the pieces we cut. 60' 7. We put copper tape on each piece of glass that we have smoothed. 40' 8. Finally, all the pieces are joined by soldering and it makes the unique design we chose. 35'

Linda was so welcoming and by the end of class it felt like she was part of our family! She is a great teacher with so much patience and you can really feel the love that she puts into her shop, her pieces, and every interaction she has. Highly recommend for everyone to take this workshop and get to spend an afternoon with Linda.

To start the day Linda collected us from the Bus station in Rodos town Center, from start to finish Linda was an attentive amazing host and teacher for the day. Linda was so welcoming and friendly providing us with fresh bakery snacks and cold water ensuring we were comfortable at all times. Linda has patience and a great skill for teaching beginners the skill of Stained glass making, she guided us both through the process providing encouragement , help and advice when needed. Every step was well explained and demonstrated to us. Linda not only provided a great day she was also great company for the day. We both made two lovely pieces of stained glass art that we will forever treasure and remember our time with Linda in her workshop on our first holiday abroad together. We would recommend Linda’s workshop to anyone wanting a new experience or even just an enjoyable day. Both of us would love to spend another day with Linda when we return to Rodos. We had a fantastic day with the lovely Linda on our stained glass workshop whilst on holiday in Rhodes. Linda was very patient and we both had an enjoyable day. We would highly recommend this as a fun and safe activity to do whilst on holiday. Cold drinks and refreshments were provided.

An amazing experience! It was a very pleasant and original artistic discovery. Stained glass art is very fun and Linda is a great teacher! It was an amazing experience ! Linda took a lot of time teaching us with so much kindness! Even if you're not very familiar with stained glass art it becomes very interesting and you can get very passionnate about it, I highly recommend it!
A must do on Rhodos for creative and even non creative people.

We had an amazing time. It was so fun to make our stained glass art. The host was amazing, super friendly and even had snacks for us while we were working on our projects. Every step was explained super clear to ensure that our projects would come out amazing. I can highly recommend this workshop. Absolutely worth the money and time.

This workshop was wonderful from start to finish. Linda was very helpful when I first contacted her, answering all my questions and sending me some ideas for designs. I booked in with her a couple of weeks ahead of my arrival. When I arrived in Rhodes a couple of days before the workshop she messaged to welcome me to the island which I thought was lovely. The shop itself is a little out of the way but still easy to find. I took a taxi there and back from my hotel and Linda was happy to assist in talking to the taxi company for me. You cannot fault Linda’s friendliness and hospitality, she provided drinks and some fresh bakery snacks which were so delicious I wish I hadn’t eaten such a big breakfast! She had even provided a towel just for me in the bathroom for washing my hands. It was also a very hot day and Linda was very solicitous, always checking whether I was comfortable enough and adding ice to the fans in the room. The design process and activity itself was so much fun. Linda warned me in advance that it is quite intensive, however I really enjoyed myself as she taught how to cut the glass, choose colours, put together the shapes and solder with the copper foil. Everything was provided and there was plenty of choice of colours and products to tweak your work. Linda was also diligent about safety, providing gloves and safety goggles as well as masks when needed. Above all, Linda herself was lovely. She came across as very kind and approachable. I had a great time with her, chatting as we worked. I can’t recommend this workshop enough, it’s a great opportunity to do something crafty and a bit different whilst also taking home a truly personal souvenir.

This was my favourite activity over my whole trip to Greece and I made a beautiful stained glass sailing boat to treasure forever. My design was a little ambitious 😀 but Linda was so kind and generous and helped me achieve it! Strongly recommend Linda’s classes and my creation arrived home safe and sound in my carry on luggage.

This is a truly amazing experience, made special by Linda. She has an amazing talent and teaches her skills in a lovely relaxing workshop. We were able to make designs that we had picked, even if the design is more complex she was able to simplify it to create something beautiful and that could be completed in 5 hours. We went on one of the hottest days and Linda made the workshop so comfortable for us with fans and offered us water and frappés throughout. She also brought little pastries for us to enjoy and these were delicious!! This experience is a must do for anyone who loves art and Linda makes it suitable for any level. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! A truly incredible experience with one of the most talented stained glass artists with a heart of gold!
