Stand Up Paddle Boarding is an off shot of traditional surfing which originated in Hawaii. A fairly new sport that has blossomed over the last few years, which has seen the sport diverge from the sea to the river. There are even people doing Stand Up Paddle Board yoga!!
On every Stand Up Paddle Boarding trip we include all equipment required plus a professional experienced guide per raft combined with an overall trip leader in charge of the trip.

From Oct to April a fleece can be worn under the wetsuit to keep you warm.

What To Expect
Stand Up Paddle Boarding allows you a unique way to explore rivers and lochs; it’s a whole new experience which includes thrills and relaxation all at the same time. You can meander down a river and enjoy the natural beauty of the river on your paddleboard. You will be provided with everything you need to do Stand Up Paddle Boarding safely. However we do ask you to bring an old pair of shoes to wear on the river (These will get wet), and your swimwear for underneath your wetsuit. Optional – a non cotton T-shirt (synthetic materials are best) for under your wetsuit. Depending on the time of the year, you should bring warm clothing for before and after your trip.

5.00First ever SUP experience with my 14 and 12 year old kids. Our guide, Kiki, was fantastic - knowledgable, supportive and laid back with a great sense of humour. We had a brilliant session and will definitely be back!

5.00The paddle boarding experience was absolutely worth it!!!! Very easy booking service, asked us to change our date via email and we are able to change, the response via email was very quick... Donas was our guide, he was so down to earth and full of knowledge. He explained the times of the year can give you a different experience depending in the River flow etc, very reassuring and constantly encouraging us throughout the whole time with him. He kitted us out with full wetsuits, socks, life jackets and helmets etc, nice changing room with a cosy heater in it. Got into a minibus and took us down to the river and gave demonstrations and safety brief on the boards. Took us into a shallow enough slow moving stream to get us used to the paddle boards and manovres, spent a good bit of time there practicing. When we were ready we went out onto the open river. That changed things up a bit hahaha... now you have to use your skills and muscles, I'm a bit of a panicker which I think Donas picked up on so kept encouraging me, very good with his instructions. I got a bit nervous when the water flowed faster and because of my panic I fell in, it took me a minute to find my bearings, Donas got to me quickly and helped me. Donas and my partner (who wasn't nervous at all) went round the rapids part again whilst I waited for them (I was quite happy to as well haha) I went back in when I was ready and we continued on our journey. When we got to the end and came out, that's when we realised how much muscles you use and how jelly your legs go, the quicker you can stand the easier on your legs it is. Fantastic experience and we will even come back again, want to try some of the other adventures. Thanks again Donas for the experience and was an absolute pleasure to meet you.

5.00Really kind accommodating company. I messed up my booking, was gutted and they fitted me in. My first time paddle boarding, can’t wait to give it another go. Sorcha was an excellent teacher, clear explanation and encouraging feedback. Not only taught me about boarding but also river and water safety plus lots of hints and tips. The route was perfect, beautiful scenery and wildlife. Very grateful!

5.00Excellent trip with a friend - 60th birthday gift The adventure was great fun and good exercise as well The guide was excellent with clear instructions throughout All equipment provided seemed good quality and fitted well We also had good company from another much younger group along with us on the water Weather was warm enough but a bit rainy - though we were already wet on the water
