What To Expect

Stingray City

Stingray city, What Cayman is known for! Our friendly(Sea Pancakes what I call em)Southern Atlantic Stingrays tamed over many decades of interaction, they will swim around us like curious(Sea Puppies). They are 100% wild which makes it unique unlike other destinations, they come and go as they wish. We can hold, feed, kiss, and take pictures with them to Secure the moment!

40 minutes • Admission Not Applicable

Starfish Point a short ride across the "North Sound" from Stingray City. Calmest out of the three, a perfect spot to relax. Straight from the vessel, and on to a beach/sandbar depending on wind. You can hold see these wild sea creatures as they will slowly walk around us while we talk about them!

Amazing trip captained by Jake and Alex. Fantastic hosts who really made this experience special for my family and our 2 year old. They were interactive, took family photos, let all the kids take turns “driving” the boat. We went on an excursion years ago and it was nothing like this. Great job to these folks and we would absolutely book again through Rowan Watersports using Captain Jake & Alex!

Tour was exactly as advertised, but honestly, a bit underwhelming. Stingrays were great, but the starfish and snorkeling were disappointing. Each stop was a bit crowded as there were tons of other boats there doing the same stuff. The tourguides were great, so nothing against them.

This was the best excursion I have ever been on in my life. Rowan Watersports is an incredible company and this trip is perfect if you have a day in Grand Cayman. It was easy to find the check in area off the ship with detailed directions by Wania. Captain Jack and Alex made the trip fun and nice and smooth. The snorkel was beautiful with tons of fish, there were so many starfish, and the best was touching/holding a stingray. I had hoped it would be fun but it exceeded my expectations!!!

It says it ends at 1230pm but we didn't get back to the terminal until 230pm. It took a while to get there but fun when we arrived.
