This is an amazing project! Observing galaxies millions of light years away is particularly challenging, but you can see them with your own eyes through the extremely large "Stargate" telescope! The special astro camera mounted on the telescope allows us to take detailed and impressive images. The program leader is a National Geographic Hungary recognized astrophotographer, and the images taken during the evening will be given to the participants as a free souvenir. This is a great way to take home the starry sky of Teide.

What To Expect
We start the Stargazing after sunset. We give a short presentation on the evening sights on a computer. Then we look at planets, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies millions of light years away. Through the telescope, each participant can see these with their own eyes. Then we take photos of the targets, which the guests will receive the next day in the form of a download link. Finally, we take a joint picture with the telescope and the guests.

5.00It was one of the most unique experiences in our lives. We're lucky enough to have George as well as the stunning telescope. Also huge thanks for George's comprehensive guide for all the stars, galaxies, nebulae, etc. The photos we received were definitely lifetime memories.

5.00We stumbled upon Anna and Gyuri’s stargazing group by pure luck while visiting El Teide, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The views are simply indescribable, and their knowledge of the night sky is endless. They took such good care of us with warm tea, cozy blankets, and a special 'astronomer’s drink' to sharpen our vision. There was even a wonderful surprise at the end (no spoilers, but it was amazing!). Whether you are young or old, this is a must-do program if you are in Tenerife. We can't wait to join them again to learn even more about the universe. Highly recommended!

5.00By chance, we met the Star Guide. He's taking you into his world of astronomy. We found it very personal and individual. You get so much to see, so much information and data. Not only is the starry sky explained, but you get to see and see distant galaxies (not crystal clear, of course, but it's not too long on the road). He takes photos of the observations and you get a link the next day with the download of the photos. Including a photo of you the telescope and the Milky Way. Thank you for the great experience.

Their passion for astronomy and the night sky really shone through, and they explained everything with such clarity and enthusiasm. Not only were they fun and warm, but also extremely knowledgeable and professional, making the whole evening both fascinating and memorable. They even provided us hot drinks, warm jackets, and blankets, which made the experience so comfortable despite the cool mountain night! 5.00From the moment we were arrived, everything felt smooth and well-organized. The guides were friendly and shared fascinating details about the sky/ stars. Watching the sky above the clouds with a warm drink and blanket was pure magic. Later, under a pitch-black sky, we saw a comet (R2), the Moon and even a dying star through the telescope. The Milky Way stretched overhead like a painting. It wasn’t just a tour — it was one of those rare experiences that stays with us forever. The telescope views and the details made it feel like we were traveling through space and time. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the sky and wonders. :) thanks for this amazing magical adventure!

5.00Gyorgy and his wife are passionate about stars and you can feel it ! They will transfer you their knowledge and answer any question you might have. That being said, the explanation is one part of the highlight, the other one is the telescope, with the instrument they have you will be able to observe breathtaking views of the sky, absolutely worth it ! There is no comparison possible with all other stargazing tours offered on Tenerife (indeed there was another one next to us with only very small telescope and much more mass tourist oriented...) If you want the real deal with the explanations and observation of an astronomer, search no further, this is the place to come. They also did provide us with warm blankets and a very nice song once the area quieted down after mass tourism left. Another highlight are all the pictures you will receive after the experience, it allows you to enjoy your time and to remember it afterwards !
