What To Expect
Stargazing Zion is pleased to host you, family, and friends for an entertaining evening of stargazing and astronomy on a field adjacent to the newly dedicated International Dark Sky Park, Zion National Park. Starting with a brief 10-minute walk to our dark sky location, our guides will then familiarize you with the night sky as astronomical twilight begins to set. Each guest lounges in their own Yogibo. These pods conform to your body, eliminating pressure points to make it comfortable and easy to view the star-filled sky. Each guest also has a pair of Celestron Outland X Binoculars to view the sky from their Yogibo. Our astronomy guides will present a 2-hour program that includes state-of-the-art telescopes and laser pointers to guide you around the constellations and objects of the night sky. We also provide guests an up-close view of celestial objects (galaxies, nebulae, clusters) through our powerful telescopes. Hot beverages are provided as well, such as hot chocolate, coffee and tea. 5.00from the start to finish - beyond our expectations! the experience was well thought of, story telling about planets in the beginning, the showing of the stars, constellations and the story in between. The sharing of pictures at the end were very nice touch.

4.00The experience was pretty good overall. The tour was easy to find in terms of location. The communication from the team was pretty good in terms of sending text messages and reminders. The tour started at the right time ended at the right time. The facilities and the set up was great as well - with bean bags , tea, blankets, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. The staff was very friendly. Everything was very well planned and thought out. A lot depends on the timing of the year and what you can or cannot see in the sky. Nothing that you can control really. I would do it again if I ever happen to be in Zion area again

5.00We had the best time and really was a highlight of our trip to Utah. The skies were perfect. We did plan perfect with a new moon and got lucky enough that there were NO clouds. Matt had so much knowledge and answered a variety of questions from the group. I loved being out there with those stars. Thank you also to come back and get the photos as part of the package. 5.00The tour was mind blowing! Adam, our tour guide gave a great talk about stars,planets & galaxies that ( non astrologers) could understand. A huge feat considering the vastness of the universe & the fact that there are still so many unknowns. An experience I will never forget!

5.00Excellent! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Telescopes were incredible. Small group so plenty of opportunities to look through telescopes. Pods were comfortable and really appreciated blankets. It was cold even in September with high during the day of 89. They even take your picture with the Milkyway in the background and email to you for free with photos from telescopes! Highly recommend.

5.00What a magical experience! Our entire trip to Zion was incredible but stargazing was definitely the highlight. Michael is so knowledgeable and seems to really enjoy sharing information and stories about the cosmos. Worth every penny!
