Tokara Wine Estate
We meet at the Tokara Delicatessen, surrounded by striking sculptures and contemporary art, before setting off into the vineyards. We meander our way around a beautiful walk that leads us to what may be the most breathtaking view in the Cape, where we pause to pop a bottle of bubbly and take it all in.
Thelema Mountain Vineyards
Our walk then takes us gently downhill to Thelema Wine Estate, past rows of towering eucalyptus trees that lend the wines their signature minty freshness. This tour with Geoff was absolutely brilliant. His wit and charm really enhances the day as did our fellow guests. If you are concerned about the walking the don’t as it’s just a gentle meander through the vines and olive groves. Thelima in particular was a fabulous winery and our host was an incredible lady who enhanced the experience with her humour. Don’t just think about this trip do it. Much better than an anonymous taxi or wine tram.

What an incredible walk with Geoff. So knowledgable, engaged and he really gave us possibly the best tour I have ever been on. There are not enough stars to give him. Excellent value for money.

If you’re looking for the best way to experience Stellenbosch beyond the usual wine tastings, this is it. Geoff’s Stellenbosch Wine Walk is a brilliant blend of history, storytelling, and scenic beauty topped off with exceptional wines. From the moment we met, Geoff’s warmth and deep knowledge of the area set the tone. He has a natural gift for bringing the valley’s heritage and vineyards to life, weaving in fascinating stories about the people and places that shaped the Cape’s wine culture. The walk itself is easygoing and beautifully paced, moving through vineyards and old farm estates with stunning mountain views all around. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, the wines superb, and the conversations relaxed and engaging. By the end of the day, it felt less like a tour and more like spending time with a friend who genuinely loves sharing his corner of the world. Highly recommend this experience, a must-do in Stellenbosch for anyone who enjoys wine, nature, and authentic local insight.

Our Stellenbosch Wine Walk with Geoff was one of the absolute highlights of our time in the Cape! Geoff isn’t just a guide, he’s a storyteller, historian, and born host. His knowledge of the valley’s wines, history, and characters brings the landscape to life in a way no ordinary tour could. The walk itself was perfectly paced, weaving through vineyards and farms with breathtaking views at every turn. We stopped at exceptional estates for tastings and lunch, but what made it truly special was how personal it all felt — Geoff seems to know everyone, and you feel like you’re walking through a living story of the Cape Winelands. If you want more than just a tasting if you want to really feel the spirit, history, and rhythm of Stellenbosch this is the experience to book. Highly recommended.

We had the absolute best day on the Stellenbosch Wine Walk with Geoff! From start to finish, it was a perfect mix of stunning vineyards, and hidden spots we never would have found on our own. Geoff’s knowledge, stories, and passion for wine and the region made the experience truly unforgettable. Every wine tasting was a delight, paired with local treats, and Geoff made sure the pace was just right so we could enjoy the scenery, take photos, and soak it all in. We laughed, learned, and of course, tasted some incredible wines along the way. If you want a day full of wine, history, and unforgettable memories, this tour is a must. The Stellenbosch Wine Walk with Geoff was a highlight of our trip. Instead of rushing from estate to estate, we strolled through beautiful vineyards, tasting excellent wines along the way. What made it stand out was Geoff’s storytelling, he brought the history, land, and people of Stellenbosch to life. The route was scenic and easy to manage, with just the right balance of walking and tasting. Group size was small, so it felt personal and unhurried. If you want more than just a wine tasting a , real sense of place, with stories you’ll remember long after the last glass, then this is the tour to book.

We joined Geoff for the Stellenbosch Wine Walk and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The walk took us through vineyards, historic estates, and along paths with stunning views of the mountains. Being on foot made the whole experience feel more authentic, you really get to soak in the landscape, the atmosphere, and the slower pace of the winelands. Geoff’s knowledge of the area’s history, wine culture, and people was outstanding. He wove stories of Stellenbosch’s heritage into the walk in a way that brought the region to life. It never felt like a lecture it was more like a friend sharing insights as we explored together. Each wine estate we visited offered something different, from boutique tastings to iconic wineries. The pairings and hospitality were exceptional, and ending the day with a leisurely lunch among the vines was the perfect finale. If you want to experience Stellenbosch beyond just driving from farm to farm, this walk is the way to do it. A rich blend of history, scenery, wine, and connection. Highly recommended.
