Ready for a day of wine, views, and good vibes?
Join us for a relaxed walking tour through the beautiful Stellenbosch Winelands, where world-class wine meets rich local history.
We’ll kick things off at the stunning and world-class Tokara Wine Estate, soaking in the scenery before wandering down scenic paths to Thelema for a laid-back, guided tasting. Then it’s back to Tokara for a delicious sensory experience (yep, more wine and sweeping views of the Cape, where you will see Table Mountain to Cape Point in one view).
To wrap up the day, we wander down to the charming Zorgvliet Wine Estate, to taste two perfectly paired estate wines.
It’s the perfect mix of sipping, strolling, and storytelling.

What To Expect
Tokara Wine Estate
We meet at the Tokara Delicatessen, surrounded by striking sculptures and contemporary art, before setting off into the vineyards. We meander our way around a beautiful walk that leads us to what may be the most breathtaking view in the Cape, where we pause to pop a bottle of bubbly and take it all in.
Thelema Mountain Vineyards
Our walk then takes us gently downhill to Thelema Wine Estate, past rows of towering eucalyptus trees that lend the wines their signature minty freshness. We arrive at the estate’s warm and inviting tasting room, where we sample Thelema’s acclaimed wines, including those proudly poured at the inauguration of Nelson Mandela.

5.00This tour with Geoff was absolutely brilliant. His wit and charm really enhances the day as did our fellow guests. If you are concerned about the walking the don’t as it’s just a gentle meander through the vines and olive groves. Thelima in particular was a fabulous winery and our host was an incredible lady who enhanced the experience with her humour. Don’t just think about this trip do it. Much better than an anonymous taxi or wine tram.

5.00What an unforgettable experience! The walk from Tokara to Zorgvliet through the Stellenbosch vineyards was absolutely beautiful rolling hills, mountain views, and stops at several lovely estates. We tasted 12 incredible wines along the way, each paired with stories, scenery, and friendly hosts. Geoff the guide was fun, knowledgeable, and kept a great pace between tastings. It’s the perfect mix of light exercise, wine appreciation, and breathtaking landscapes. Highly recommended for anyone who loves wine, nature, and a bit of adventure!

What made it stand out was Geoff’s storytelling, he brought the history, land, and people of Stellenbosch to life. The route was scenic and easy to manage, with just the right balance of walking and tasting. Group size was small, so it felt personal and unhurried. If you want more than just a wine tasting a , real sense of place, with stories you’ll remember long after the last glass, then this is the tour to book.

5.00We joined Geoff for the Stellenbosch Wine Walk and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The walk took us through vineyards, historic estates, and along paths with stunning views of the mountains. Being on foot made the whole experience feel more authentic, you really get to soak in the landscape, the atmosphere, and the slower pace of the winelands. Geoff’s knowledge of the area’s history, wine culture, and people was outstanding. He wove stories of Stellenbosch’s heritage into the walk in a way that brought the region to life. It never felt like a lecture it was more like a friend sharing insights as we explored together. Each wine estate we visited offered something different, from boutique tastings to iconic wineries.
