The newspaper Times Uk has included the activity of swimming with the breeds among the top 3 experiences to live in Antigua during a holiday on this island.
Bathing with Stingrays is by far the most unforgettable experience you can live in your stopover in Antigua. After 8 minutes by boat you reach a floating platform. Once you arrive you will be able to go down to the sea with a height of 150 cm (4.75 ft) then you will touch (the tide may be higher in some days). There is no need to know how to swim because THE WATER IS SHALLOW. It can be done by children from 1 month up to people 90 years old, getting on and off the boat is very simple and accessible even for those with mild mobility problems.
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

Very well organised trip. Our driver, Andrew was very friendly and chatty. He made is feel relaxed abd looked after. The stingray experience was great, the highlight of our cruise. The stingrays were giant and very friendly, clearly well looked after, so they return time after time to the tourists. Free rum punch after and changing facilities. We also received snacks and a certificate from Andrew, lovely extra touch. I would 100% recommend to do this trip, if you have a chance.

This was our third time swimming with the Ladies, as my wife calls them, and it was the same superb trip we'd done before with this company. Although busy it was a pleasure to see that the Stingrays always had priority and were free to come and go as they pleased. Most of the staff were very knowledgeable and treated the Rays with due respect. Well organised and safe for the customers also. I'm sure we'll be back for a fourth time.

The stingrays is still my favorite all time trip. My son was 2 years old and was able to also participate and be apart of our adventure

Our tour guide was great. She made sure the timing was prompt knowing we were cutting it close to having to be back on the ship. We forgot to bring towels so she loaned us her’s. Also very informative about the island as we drove to the destination. The actual experience was different than expected. I thought we would be in waist deep water, but instead I had to stand on my tip toes and some areas were over my head. It seemed it was better suited for snorkeling. Also very crowded! They pack a lot of people into a small area. It was very cool to be able to swim with the stingrays, but hard to really enjoy because of all the people. Would recommend they stagger the boats going out to limit the amount of people at one time.

Wow, what an absolute amazing experience at Stingray City. Communication from time of booking was excellent, with instructions of meeting point & time. Swimming, holding & feeding the stingrays was so good. I would definately recommend this trip & if ever in Antigua would not hesitate in doing it again.

Wonderful trip. A bit tricky to find the meeting point as the boardwalk from the ship was shut but managed to find it (10 minute walk instead of 2 minute if the boardwalk was open). Pretty large group but didnt feel crowded. Bus from the cruise ship to stingray city, then a boat out to the shallows to meet the stingrays. There are shallow areas to stand or you can venture a little further to snorkel (supplied) with the fish and the rays. The rays were very inquisitive and were very happy to swim amongst us all. Very well organised and run trip, topped off with some yummy rum punch before heading back to the boat. Would highly recommend.
