This tour goes to the Stingray City sandbar where you will interact with stingrays. This tour also includes two snorkeling stops, the magnificent Coral Gardens and the gorgeous Barrier Reef.

Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.

Stay-over guests must provide the following information at time of booking: Name of accommodation, room/unit number and if they need pick up.

Meeting Point for Cruise Passengers: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports check-in office located in the Waterfront Centre, 1/2 - 2 Blocks LEFT of the cruise terminal. Please be there at least 45 minutes before time of tour.

We provide complimentary pick-up at hotels/condo along Seven-Mile Beach area.

Meeting point for Stay-over Guests who do not require pick-up: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports main office located in the Cayman Falls Plaza, across the street from the Westin Hotel on seven mile beach area. Please be here 30 minutes before time of tour.

Tour operates on local island time NOT ship time.

You must check in at least 45 minutes before the start of the tour.

Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old and above.

Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark

Very important for cruise guests: In the unlikely event that your ship anchors on the south side of the island (Spotts) instead of in George Town Harbour, our shuttle buses will be there to pick you up, and our drivers wearing navy blue (or maroon) colored shirt will be there to meet you. After your tour, we will drop you back in George Town where you can find a local bus or taxi to get back to Spotts.

We went on the stingray city and starfish point excursion Monday 10th November 2025 and had a fabulous time. We were stopping in the Westin Grand hotel, so Captain Marvin’s Water sports store was just over the road from us. We popped in on the Sunday to make reservations, the team members in the store were very friendly and helpful. Monday was looking the best for the excursion as the weather was going to be the best condition (trip is weather dependant). There were two time slots to choose from, we chose the early one 7.45am and pleased we did. As the Monday was a bank holiday we paid a little bit more. In GBP we paid £114.57 all in for the both of us. On the day of the trip, we arrived 15 minutes before departure and met at the store where we had made the original booking. There we boarded a minibus that took us on a short 10-minute ride to the boat embarkment point. We were on the boat for about 20 minutes before we reached stingray city (juice, water and snorkel sets were provided). We spent about 40 minutes at stingray city which was an adequate time to take pictures, kiss and interact with the stingrays. We pleased we went on the earlier slot as we were the only boat there, so we had the stingrays to ourselves. 5 minutes into the journey to the starfish point it looked like the stingray area was getting busy and we counted 11 boats there. We selected to have the photos taken and 25 photos cost GBP £47.36. Joice emailed us them about 18:00pm the same day and were easily accessible via the email link (we then saved them onto our phone). All photos were excellent quality. Joice said if we didn’t receive them that day, we could just pop back into the store where we could sort it out. Overall, we found this trip excellent and a must do if you are visiting the Cayman’s. The excursion time was just right for us (not to long) and were back to base just after 11am. The crew we had were very professional, helpful and friendly. A big thanks to Captain Delroy, Mates – Jamie and Cody and Joice on photos. We will do this trip again if we ever return to the Cayman’s and will recommend captain Marvin’s water sports.

I was completely amazed how wonderful the entire staff were. I was on Tour #5 on Dec 9th at 10:30. I will continuously recommend Captain Marvin to everyone. You guys were next level!! Thank you for making my experience so special. The stingrays would not have been more enjoyable than Kevin teaching us and providing guidance how to be with these majestic creatures.
