You will start your excursion by hiking up to the monumental Fort Amsterdam, a cultural spot rich in history. You will be able to enjoy the view and after descend in the sea for the absolute best snorkeling experience Sint Maarten have to offer. You will be amazed by the marine life. This eco- friendly excursion leaves from the shore. Be ready to enjoy 45min to an hour of mind blowing aquatic experience, while swimming and enjoying the variety of tropical fishes. After the snorkeling experience you will head to Great bay beach for a great time relaxing on the beach with your beach chairs, umbrellas & soft water sports.

1.00Canceled one hour before we were supposed to meet them. We are on a cruise ship with limited time and access to other excursions. Very disappointing we prepaid as well.

5.00Make sure you take a screenshot of your tour otherwise you’ll have to turn your phone service on. Our tour was canceled and I didn’t receive notification. We took a round the island tour instead and our driver/guide was fantastic. Only problem is that you only had a few minutes at certain stops to get out. Plus our cruise ship was late arriving and we were under a time crunch.

5.00A hike that around 45 minutes to see the fort and view of the port. Snorkeling is fun but make sure lots of sunblock. Terry is a great guide. He can remind us to do sunblocks for sure.

4.00A bit disorganized as we booked transfers from the port and ended up having to take an pay for a taxi. The one other person on our tour took a provided shuttle from the port that we were not told about. I am still waiting to hear back from Viator about a refund for the taxi. The snorkeling however made up for it as we saw a wrecked submarine, helicopter, cannon and more!

4.00We had a great experience overall. This tour may be difficult for children, as there are loose rocks and some challenging areas on the way to the ocean for snorkeling. The only guaranteed bathroom is at the meeting place; although there are restrooms in the hiking area, they may not be open since they are mainly for hotel guests. The snorkeling itself was very good, with several different types of fish to observe, plus a unique underwater statue area to see. The beach is really nice and feels private. There is food available at end of the beach, but it is not included in the tour price. Make sure to bring water and any other beverages you prefer. The tour is reasonably priced. I recommend bringing a net or carry bag for your snorkeling gear, as you will need to carry it yourself. The price is definitely one of the highlights of this experience. Other tours may offer more amenities—such as included water, more staff to help with carrying gear, easier access areas, and available bathrooms—but those options often cost two to three times more. The staff on this tour are friendly and attentive. They look out for you, stay with the group, and make sure everyone is safe. They check in regularly to ensure you’re doing well. Our guide, Terry, is a local to the island and very knowledgeable about the area.

5.00Our nature hike, snorkeling and beach tour was amazing with Terry! We saw the ruins of Fort Amsterdam, old canons, nesting pelicans and beautiful views of the island. Then we snorkeled and saw tons of colorful fish (including cute gobies), a huge lobster and an octopus. I wish we had an underwater camera. Finally, we visited a lovely spot at Great Bay Beach. Even though the tour says 9am they were able to meet us later to accommodate our cruise ship time. My kids, 12 and 9, loved the snorkeling and even said they missed Terry after the tour was over! Make sure you bring water and comfortable shoes.

5.00Terry at the Royal Palm guest service and towel issue was very informative and helpful in choosing our island adventure highly recommended asking for him by name always ask for Terry coordinates your trip to and from, Terry is an asset to the Hilton Grand Vacation Club experience !!!!!

5.00Terry and Dontae were such amazing representatives! They explained each excursion with great detail and answered all of our questions. We scheduled another excursion for another day, but due to my becoming dehydrated from the previous day, they politely cancelled and refunded my deposit.
