Raquel was an amazing guide. I went solo, but she brought the group together and we had a lot of fun. She was knowledgable, fun, and the route around the islands was magical. All round, an amazing day that I couldn’t recommend more.

It was well-planned and fun. Instructors were knowledgeable about where to go and how to handle weather conditions.

The pickup details were imprecise and the driver was a little late arriving at the pickup location. These facts combined with cool, wet weather almost caused us to bail on this tour. However, we persevered and are glad we did! Skargardens Kanocenter did a great job of providing the right gear to make us comfortable and relaxed on the water. The tour provided us with an opportunity to see another side of Stockholm and learn about Sweden's topography and history in a very tranquil and beautiful surrounding. The best part of our tour was our guide, Aske. Aske, was very knowledgeable and very personable - he made our kayak tour the highlight of our trip to Stockholm!

This is a fun excursion outside of Stockholm! Fortunately, the weather was absolutely perfect. I, unfortunately, was feeling very unwell the day of the tour, but the guide was so kind and tried her best to make me as comfortable as possible. There are toilets onsite, but basically port-a-potties. I’m not sure if the description on Viator mentions an opportunity for sauna, but I was not prepared for this as everyone else on the tour was (they all came with swimsuits and towels), so I missed out on the sauna part. Also the pickup spot listed on Viator is incorrect. The kayaking itself was lovely!

We spent 4 hours on the kayaking tour with Sam and it was absolutely fantastic. Sam was one of the best guides we have ever had. He was so lovely, super calm and very knowledgeable. Felt safe from the get go. We were with such a nice group and it was great getting to know everyone. We stopped on an island for fika which was amazing and Sam even catered for my gluten intolerance which I was very grateful for. We went for a little walk with the group around the island which was nice. When we got back we had a sauna and enjoyed some lake swims with our group - we even managed to get Sam to join us. The whole day was just perfect and our fav day of our travels. Would highly recommend.

We had a remarkable kayak outing recently with your group and loved every moment of it. From the timely pickup by Jules to the quality of the equipment and organization. You also have an outstanding guide in Rowan. He is very knowledgeable, informative, safety minded and an all around joy to spend time with. He is very caring and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. Congratulations!

The kayak tour was an absolute highlight! Sam is a great guy, extremely friendly, and the best guide you could wish for. We wanted to go on our own at first, but after this tour we know that Sam's insider knowledge is worth its weight in gold! He knows the routes that only locals take and knows where the animals are. We definitely wouldn't have done the tour that way. Really great: thanks to his keen eyes, Sam spotted an eagle in a tree that we would never have seen otherwise. A wonderful moment! The stop for fika and exploring the island was perfect. The equipment was top-notch, the atmosphere was great, and you experience the archipelago more authentically than anywhere else. A must! If you want to experience the archipelago properly, you have to go with Sam. 5 stars, no question! Thanks a lot to Sam and the entire Kanotcenter team for providing this unforgettable experience.

If you are lucky with weather, September is a great time for kayaking. Less traffic on the archipelago and possibility for private tour. Couldn’t have wanted a better tour guide than Sam. Fika on the rocks was also nice.

A fantastic way to spend a day! Highly recommended. Our guide was personable, kind, and warm-- he remembered everyone's name and experience level, and beautifully tailored the day to our group's strengths. He was knowledgeable about kayaking, of course, but also had a wonderful knowledge of Sweden and the islands we kayaked around. Got lots of practical tips on sea kayaking. The fika (lunch/snack spread) was delightful. We had a beautiful day, and then hung around to do a bit of swimming off the dock. The price was absolutely worth the experience-- top marks all around.
