Escape the busy city life and explore Swedish nature on a guided hike through the stunning Nacka Nature Reserve, just outside Stockholm. This tour takes you through dense forests, along lakes, and over high granite cliffs, offering a refreshing outdoor adventure.
We start directly from our office at the edge of the reserve and walk into the heart of the wilderness. An experienced guide leads the way, sharing fascinating insights into Swedish culture, local wildlife, and the area's geology. While the reserve is home to deer and other animals, sightings are not guaranteed.
The hike includes some off-trail sections, adapted to the group’s abilities and weather conditions. Halfway through, enjoy a campfire-cooked lunch in a secluded spot. During fire restrictions, typically in August, we use gas stoves instead.
After hiking approximately 10–12 km, we finish the tour with a short, 20-minute public bus ride back to Slussen Subway Station, where you can continue your day in Stockholm.

I recently took a five-hour walking tour through one of Stockholm’s beautiful forests, and it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I entered the trail, I felt surrounded by peaceful silence, broken only by birdsong and the rustling of leaves. The fresh pine scent, clear lakes, and soft forest floor made every step calming and refreshing. I explored winding paths, rocky viewpoints, and quiet spots that felt untouched. The guide shared interesting stories about Swedish nature and wildlife, which made the walk even more meaningful. It was the perfect escape from the city and a wonderful reminder of how stunning Stockholm’s nature is.

The walk was nice and in fine nature, but not a walk you could not plan yourself. It was a very expensive trip according to the output.

We had a great hike and the rain after lunch didn't dampen our spirits at all. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, with a good sense of humour. She showed genuine interest in all the people in the party, and was keen to answer our questions. The hike itself was not too challenging, and the views were worth the scramble up the hillside. The nature reserve is truly beautiful - and the lakeside stop-off was incredibly peaceful.

This hike is absolutely beautiful. Our guide, Yasmine, knows the area very well and was able to answer all of my questions about the nature reserve and about Sweden in general. The views are stunning. We are active people and the hike was not difficult for us. The fika and campfire lunch were tasty. We saw lots of pretty plants and lots of signs of various animals. We even saw a deer who seemed to not be scared at all.

We went on this tour a few weeks ago with Jasmin, on an absolutely beautiful day. We can honestly say that the whole tour was fantastic, from start to finish. The hike covered such a big area without being too challenging, and we were rewarded with spectacular views. Jasmin was so lovely, and provided us with so much information- we learnt so much that day. We also had a lovely campfire lunch of veggie meatballs that we really enjoyed. Would highly recommend this tour if you fancied getting out of the city for a few hours to enjoy the beautiful nature of the country.

Pleasant hike with beautiful scenery. The fika break and the wood-fired lunch was delicious although it could have been a bit more hearty.
